Thought I'd say something nice about DL:

I thought the Eriksen/Levy chat was actually quite palatable. It showed Levy in a positive light - telling CHristian he would match his financial offer and reluctantly let him go. It was a natural scenario and handled seemingly well.

Now something less nice:

I don't believe for a moment that Levy aims to leave the team in a better state than the previous one at the end of each window.

(This bit's for A&C ) His eye movements indicate he's not exactly telling the truth here...

We're all body language experts, after all, aren't we?

I'm not having that :D

He was shown having a conversation whilst standing and he had no trouble at all looking the chap he was talking to straight in the knees.

Well it's working. I'm warming to Mourinho and Levy. Actually surprised at how shy almost awkward Levy is.

I was exactly the same after watching a Charlie Manson documentary. Such a nice chap.

People who think any of this is scripted need to know that this is not how a company doing a proper documentary on a Premiership Football club would operate.

I work in video and although there is such a thing as 'The power of the edit' - You can't edit something that's not there, usually you only enhance or get to the point quicker, you don't change it, this isn't some piece of shit show like TOWIE or something else where added drama is forced in for ratings.

Most of the footage we see is from cameras that were placed around July, so at some point, people forget about them and they become part of the scenery, so any of this 'scripting' stuff in regards to that is nonsense.

In terms of the narration and building of events, yes that could be changed slightly to give events a slightly different feel but I really don't think any truths have been bent really.

I'm not blind to think that Levy and co are not aware of the doc and may hold back on a few things here and there but overall, their character and who they are have been seen throughout the episodes. If anything, the worse person to come out of this is Rose. Stunk up the place when he got arsey with Jose, he said day 1 if you're not in plans you will know. He played shit, so he didn't get a look in, deal with it mate, stop moaning like a bitch.

The fighting cock has done a couple of episodes with people in the know on this, including producers from the doc, which I would highly recommend listening to.

Personally I have loved getting to know more about the club. I'm amazed that Rose could walk up to Levy having breakfast to discuss his move so openly and that Levy straight up said to Eriksen "we will match any wages a bidder wants to offer" which completely goes against everything I've perceived about Levy.

And it's...

I wish this scripted / staged rubbish would leave the conversation but for some reason there are still folks doing 1+1=5. Never mind. Everyone entitled to their opinion.

I quite like Levy. He can be a bit David Brent but he clearly loves the club and wants the best for it.

I really like Mourinho (I was in the 'give him a chance, see how it pans out' camp in that particular thread). You do get a glimpse at how tactical he is when he's instructing players in training and in some of the team talks, but obviously not much. I think the reasons for that are pretty obvious.

I've warmed to both Lucas and Serge.

Sonny and Dele are the two I'd most want to spend an evening with. Both seem like absolute diamonds. Dele has the cheekiness of youth but he seems a great lad.

Rose was being a dick. Saying something like "Look I'm not happy because I'm not playing regularly enough. Can you tell me how I need to improve to get into your team?" would have shown respect to Jose and his team-mates and a little humility. Instead he went in like a bull in a china shop giving it some billy big bollocks. Not a very mature way to deal with it.

Overall I'm really enjoying it.

Wispa Gold (refrigerated so the caramel isn't runny)
Double Decker

Notable mentions to Lion, Crunchie, Dark Bounty, Snickers.

I cannot wait for episode 7 to read comments here that covid pandemic looks scripted. Do you believe that Jose fucking Mourinho agreed to be an actor in some amazon show?

Not surprised it wasn't included in the doc, but was hoping to see some alternative transfer targets we had lined up for January in those documents Jose and Hitchen were looking at.

In the Sunderland Netflix doc, they didn't hide who they were targeting and was a better insight into transfers that do and don't materialise.

Same, I think Man.City had a scene where they talked about it as well but not surprised we hid that info.
