The Athletic are reporting that Tottenham's anticipated capture of Pedro Porro has collapsed. According to reporter David Ornstein, the move, which had appeared to be moving towards a successful outcome, 'is off after Sporting Lisbon reneged on terms of proposed deal.'

The player is described as being 'distraught'.

I just get the impression that clubs know what a tight arse Levy is and consequently take great pleasure in dicking him (and us) around as a result. Whoever is negotiating this deal for us will have been in constant contact with someone at this end and it has all the hallmarks of a Levy special to me.
