Would we even want him? I am not sure we're interested. We simply failed to sign a striker in the window, and after the window closes the media - stuck for stories to print all of a sudden - always cast around for free agents and try to put two and two togethre, which as we know is beyond most journalists' abilities.
With his recent scoring record and Valencia's keeness to offload him, is that the sort of player we'd want to bring in anyway?

Don't know if anyone mentioned this but he hasn't kicked a ball since the end of last season so even if we do sign him, He won't be playing straight away

Our homegrown capacity was one of the problems in not getting another striker during the TW. Hence the attempt to borrow Welbeck. We haven't room for non HG players until we shed some. Next summer we will have 3 vacancies Kaboul, BAE and Friedel are all out of contract I believe. We can go for J-Rod in January so maybe that's why we only wanted a loan deal for DW.
Longtime spur.. are you the same one from another Spurs site with a persistent poster who says Loser Levy and ENIC out??.. If so I am also from that site..
