Personally Id like us to keep Ndombele. My perception is his a sensitive person that needs constant reassurance a footballer to the core and a quality you should look to build around and through.
He's been given enough chances and I would think that he's not good for morale with the players as they all train and work hard and he just doesn't seem to bother. Personally I don't think any manager can change his attitude I don't think he even likes the game as he certainly hasn't shown any appetite for it.
I'm fed up with people saying he's the most gifted player we have as he's rarely shown it and I would rather play somebody that's going to put in a shift and not somebody that the team have to carry for most of the game.
It's time to get rid either a swap deal or sell for half what we paid for if we have to but get him out now as I'm just sick and tired of people making excuses for him every season.

I haven't followed him that closely, despite him being one of the better Americans in the game, but my impression has been that he is a box to box midfielder who relies more on effort and guile than pure skill. He will get stuck in, but also get in a good position to score a few goals. Like a better version of Sissoko, or the Nandez fellow we were interested in.

Good description. Weston will win the ball and 8/10 time make the right decision in the attacking third. Unlike Sissoko, who would panic and ruin the opportunity

But ….. it appears he wants to go. Additionally his contribution over the last 2 seasons has been a bit meh. If he can be replaced with someone with more out put and crucially a desire to commit to the course surely the club needs to look at it . If a deal doesn’t happen then there is another season to somehow integrate him in the team for this season and somehow unlock his undoubted talent.

The way I see it. If we believe 1) Mckennie suits the PL / Nuno’s Spurs more than Ndombele 2) Mckennie have the potential and talent to develop as a player

Then I say roll the dice. We won’t recoup Ndombeles value in straight cash. His value will only decrease as long as he doesn’t play anyway. At least with Mckennie, you have a player that suits us and whom (…hopefully) wants to be here. And who knows maybe he becomes a 50m asset while at Spurs.

Ndombele when picked did put in shifts for me his done more than say Lo Celso without meaning to compare.
