Are you referring to the notion that Spurs are planning to build a 61K stadium in order to have bragging rights over Arsenal? If so, you are aware that that is just the Times journo's spin on the story - not a quote from Spurs?

Absolutely. That's why I said " we may 1 day " not " we will "

Be thankful, it took me ages to get the helicopter going.
It was actually a 4 seater aeroplane ;)

Makes it easier to collect Andros' shots
They could incorporate a mechanised ball return system like at a bowling alley. The ball starts at row z and pops out of a little hole where the ball boys are standing.

I'm tired and delirious on night nurse.

Can we fill 61k? No idea... but it means we can work towards filling it... It's a long term thing.... I'm sure I read that Barcelona were convinced to make the Camp Nou bigger in the 50s, but it took Maradona to fill it (this may be something my memory is tricking me).

I do also love the idea it might be bigger than the Emirates <Keegan mode> I tell you, I'd love it if we had.... etc </Keegan mode>

This all very interesting but main point is how are you going to get 60k plus people in and out of the area?

New station, cross rail 2, increased amount of trains an hour, revamp of Tottenham Hale station. Most of it already agreed.

Your talking fifteen years minimum for cross rail two Tottenham hale is over a mile away. Whl will still only have two lines

Trains to and from both White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park have become more frequent over the past year or so and will become even more so as the lines come under the London Overground umbrella and as services between Stratford and Northumberland Park are ramped up.

Besides which, the idea is that facilities at the new stadium and the vastly improved local environment will mean that not every fan will rush to get out of the area the moment the final whistle goes. But even if they do, so what? Have you ever been to Old Trafford? 76,000 there for every game and worse public transport than WHL. They seem to manage somehow. So will Tottenham.

People make far too big an issue out of the potential transport problems. You get any large amount of people converging on one spot at any one time and you are going to have to exhibit a little patience. Deal with it.

What London Overground are you talking about? And how does Stratford help?

You clearly don't know the area.

Patience happens now. Double the capacity without extra infrastructure and it won't be patience. It will be chaos.

On 31 May 2015 the Liverpool Street to Enfield Town, Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) and Chingford services, as well as the Romford to Upminster service, of Abellio Greater Anglia will become part of the London Overground network.[24]

Fine. But how does that change the infrastructure?

It's just like re badging the mini metro as a rover. It's still shit.

Increasing the amount of cars on the trains from 4 to 5 and also increasing the amount of trains per hour.
