The season is not over yet? But Sunday's thrashing 0-5 at home by Liverpool indicates that we may have moved backwards in our football. We started this season with so much hype and expectation!

Liverpool, a team full of history but that in the last four season Spurs have finished above:
Liverpool's last four season:

09-10 Liverpool 7th
10-11 Liverpool 6th
11-12 Liverpool 8th
12-13 Liverpool 7th

Our last four season:

09-10 Spurs 4th
10-11 Spurs 5th
11-12 Spurs 4th
12-13 Spurs 5th

We have been in Champion League and Europa. They have not been in Champions League for about 4 years.

But after Sunday's defeat and another change in Manager, it is beginning to show that we MAY be overtaken by Liverpool again.
When they finished 7th last season and trophy-less, they stuck to Brendan Rodgers. Would we have stood by AVB?
AVB's football have been dire this season. We sold Bale and Liverpool, although not even in Europa, kept their prized asset, Luiz Suarez! We invested much more than them, bought some renown players (Eriksen, Paulinho...) and yet we have failed to show the potential and improvement needed to challenge not just top 4 but further up.

I am not saying there is no hope! We are still in CC, Europa and 7th with only 8 points behind the PL leaders after 16 games! I am simply pointing out some facts after the Liverpool game! Depending on who we finally appoint, we will either improve or decline.
Our squad has quality to finish in the top 4. Everton although having spent less is playing the football we crave and getting the results we need! They are also an improved team at the moment.

But the facts are clear, while at the moment Liverpool are on the up, currently Spurs are stagnant or maybe declining. Some won't agree! It's decision time once again and we have been here before. Looking for Mr right to manage us and see our Spurs in glory again! I believe that with the players we have in our squad, we are close to some great moments but have suffered a setback... I hope we can make our comeback this season.
