I want to take my 8 year oild to the training ground next week so hopefully we can meet some of the players.
Anyone know what the access is like? Do they allow the public near?
Thanks

I haven't been in a good few years myself, but they used to let people stand outside the gate and near enough every player bar a couple would always stop in their car and sign anything and do pictures.

No idea what it's like now, it's different with different people in charge at the club.

They are encouraged not to sign pictures and stuff because of all the people who sell signed tat on eBay ..

Maybe ring them first and ask if there's any chance you can pass the wee mans shirt over for a few of them to sign? Wasn't it the local residents and police who said that the players all stopping outside was a hazard or something?

Just give them a quick call and ask what the coup is, i'm sure that if they can arrange something they will...

maybe have a sob-story ready, just in case; "He's only 8 and the poor lad lost a leg in 'nam... tragic, yeah..."

you never know, it might work :shifty:

Per'aps you could convince Dan Levy to pay a huge amount of money for your son on the basis that you say he will be the next Messi (or is 'messy' - I dunno).

I will provide a letter of vilidatin, if you wish (for a small profit share:wink:).

I would probably draw the line at faking an accident

it not an issue they will still sign things if you dont put 50 photos out that obviously will end up on e bay.

If it is a half term there are bunches of kids there otherwise noone is there and everyone usually stops
