OS says that will be moved but no new date fixed yet
Only half an announcement, but I think Sky and BT nab the best games and leave the scraps for Amazon and BBC to choose one or two from before Sky and BT get their noses back in to carve up the remainder of the game week.

ITV 4 - 11.30 The Big Match Revisited

Orient v Spurs from the old 2nd Div in October 1977.

Can’t remember the result but I do remember going there and getting beat but that might have been a cup game and not this one

Stevie P is in the studio

ITV4 - 19.55 FA Cup Classics

Spurs v Coventry City in the 1987 FA Cup Final

Another game I went to. Like fuck will I be watching this 🤪

I have never watched this, not even highlights/goals. I refused to believe it happened but know it did.

Watching Spurs v Palace from 1977 on ITV 4

It’s 2-2 at half time with Palace equalising in stoppage time. Hoddle with both our goals, Dave Swindlehurst with two for Palace.

It’s gonna be a cracking second half 🤪

Finished 2-2 but we missed a fuckload of chances, Palace created about three chances and scored twice, so not much has changed there :D

Peter Taylor did well, Colin Lee was a lump, Terry Naylor was decent as was Perryman and Hoddle stood out again. Don McAllister and Neil McNab were fairly solid and Naylor, right in front of the ref, booted the ball away and had a rant which today would have resulted in a yellow, the ref just laughed at him. Seeing the ball passed back to the goalie is always weird these days as well. 34k attanded and the old WHL looked beautiful.

I missed quite a few games in that season, I was on the buses and worked a lot of Saturdays, even worse was that if I was on middles or lates on the No.11s it meant that I would have to go across Fulham Broadway where all the Chelsea fans would get on.
Fortunately my driver had ways of making sure we were curtailed from going by because we were late or have a mechanical problem with the bus and had to go back to our garage (Dalston) near London Fields.

Didn't know where else to put this. I'm watching the Big Match Revisited and the manager in the West Ham Qpr game from 1978 got sent off for 'coaching from the touchline'????!!!!
