WHU will always prioritise our game. Thier players and fans always step up for it
But Moyes certainly won’t. He will have targeted winnable games and WBA will certainly be one of them. Not away to us,whatever the romantics May think.

Yet will play the same players due to not having a squad to rotate.

What ever the pragmatics think whu will certainly turn up more for us than WBA

Fucking shit. Think this will be the first home leg of the derby I've missed since forever.

cant understand why the game was scheduled for there in the 1st place, new years eve game v west ham was always a stupid idea

Yes it was, but now it’s an 8pm kick off which is just as stupid in a way considering this fixture is probably the most likely one in the season to have crowd trouble.

What bollovks is this that us and WH will have to play three games in five days?
Didn't even know it was allowed to have a single day break between two games. They always move matches to a Sunday after EL games are played on a Thursday.

Yes, as are West Ham thankfully. Just pointing out that to accommodate that we’ve been given an extra day before the cup tie.
Yeah WH are too but I still don't think it's acceptable to have one day break in between two games, especially when we play on the Sunday too. Why couldn't they have put it on NYD? Look at our schedule compared to Arsenal's, it's as if Wenger has hacked the fixture computer.

I agree with you on this, but sadly Sky rule all.

Most of the league only has 1 day off between a game on the 30th of December and the NYD fixture. Indeed, if the West Ham match had stayed on NYE we'd only have had one day off before Swansea. It's normal at this time of year. I'd actually say we'll probably benefit since we've got extra rest before Swansea now rather than before Wimbledon in the cup as was previously scheduled.

A full week to sort the squad out and get some rest hopefully 6points and a place in the 4th round of the cup.
