Yeah, this is something I have always felt. Like you, I have never been able to understand exactly why we are so despised.

I think most others think we're delusional about our big club claims. We've done fuck for years and do tend to live on past glories.
It's our fans I think they hate, not so much the club itself.

Tottenham, overall, a very succesful history, we may have only won two leagues titles but we are the cup kings of the South with an outstanding record in cup finals, won 15 out of 19. Due to us having a lot of success we have, understandbly, become quite arrogant, we don't wish to be the best, we expect to be the best but before 2006 our expectations were not met for 15 years, it's only since 2006 peple have taken us seriously, just look at william hill's outright bet for the Premier League 5th Tottenham 50/1 6th Aston Villa 150/1, this is the fourth year in a row that the bookies have us as favourites to finish in the top five and challenge the top four. Like someone said, we're easy to wind up, so unsurprisingly we get a lot of stick. I bet the majority of fans applaud Levy but a lot of the media are just sucking SAF's balls because of their usual top four love fest.
I just think that we're respected a lot but we do talk us up a lot only to see us fall at the first or final hurdle.
