Not quite sure what 'he's expected to resume full training in the New Year' means as he tweeted a month or so ago that he was re-starting training. I guess he'll start from a relatively 'low' standard of fitness so its bound to be a little while to get him to a standard capable of doing the amount of pressing that Poch wants but a bit disappointed to read that he's still going to start full training in the New Year, hoped he would be available around Christmas time
Full training, means full training. Currently he's doing gym work, bikes, running, and pool work, but not out on the pitches with the players, and no ball work. Full training is that.

I'm staggered that its going to take him that long to get to that position - it'll be about 8 weeks since he tweeted that he was resuming training, and whilst I fully understand its after an op, by the time he gets to being considered to play it'll be a good 3 months (and maybe longer - I'm assuming one month in full training before he gets to start to think of playing) after he tweeted that he was starting training.

So not back before February (at the earliest ) at that rate

He's a CB playing in a secondary position as LB

That's probably his 3rd as he played RB once before. If they get written off so quickly we might as well sell Trippier as he has had so many balls threaded past him and that's on his strong side. People deserve a chance.

I saw that Windy said Owens and Stylianides are getting pros and also caught wind Yahaya isn't coming

Think Owens and Styliandes deserve a chance, but think they will need to move on eventually - we have probably better cm's in the first team and u21's already. If only they were strikers....

Yahaya not coming is not the end of the world, if he come great, if not several alternatives inside the club - Oduwa, Georgiou, Bennetts on the wing and others as playmakers such as Onomah - depends how you think he plays

Two CMs that kind of divide opinion. I wouldn't write either off, just because I think they both show something. Think let's see how they go in u21 footie then maybe get them on a loan and see what happens. Like you say though we have more obvious talent older and younger than them.

IMO both look decent, but that's partly because the standard of cm's in academy year 1 and 2 is much weaker than those in u21's and indeed in u16/u15's - which is sensible for Spurs as we are well stocked at cm and need a year or two to clear those in the u21's as to where they go (or stay). We may have the same problem with CB's in a couple of years but not necessarily other positions (unfortunately)

Not that I remember. Only made public as DM did an article on Arsenal going after him and it mentioned that he had signed a pro contract
No they definitely did.

As for CCV being higher publicity, probably, but both were 17 as far as I know?

Too add to this, I hear Muscatt and Loft will be getting third year scholarships.
