Townsend and Winks looking to get minutes as they missed out on EL minutes. Half surprised that Chadli isn't involved as he had so few minutes in EL, and the same could be said of Bentaleb perhaps

We are sending over a team for both a WBA boxing event and a football contest, same players just 2 events coinciding .

Think we've severely weakened ourselves by not having CCV and Maghoma but I guess Edwards and Shashoua will do.

Strange Hayford is with u21s. I wonder if Daly and Paul are also kept back and their spots given to u16s.

IMO an squad for IMG will largely be Academy Year 1, plus a couple from Academy Year 2 (Styliandes and Owens ?) plus Joe Pritchard and Cy Goddard (as neither have played much) plus Shilow Tracey, so doubt if room for more than one or two u16's (maybe Dinzeyi as we'll be short of CB's and maybe a FB as we'll be short there too)

Not sure this has found it's way on here, but Windy on the FC podcast this week said that he'd heard that Veljkovic is perhaps willing to open new negotiations with the club over a contract.

He said that he believed a loan agreement has been arranged with Brentford if Veljkovic and the club can agree a new contract.

Not sure this has found it's way on here, but Windy on the FC podcast this week said that he'd heard that Veljkovic is perhaps willing to open new negotiations with the club over a contract.

He said that he believed a loan agreement has been arranged with Brentford if Veljkovic and the club can agree a new contract.

Incidentally I've assumed we send an 18 man squad, but the rules allow a roster of 22.

I'd be surprised if we sent a full 22 but who knows until we count them after the first 2 matches !

Just heard from a reliable source the club are making one last effort to persuade Veljkovic to stay.

I'd also expect Loft and Muscatt. If Paul doesn't go then Tanganga can play RB as well. So Mukena and Dinzeyi will both go I reckon.

Only thing about Loft going is that if Tracey is going (as per ITK) plus Sterling it could be a mite crowded in the striker department - odd that Tracey came from the same club as Loft did.

Think Mukena tweeted a couple of days ago he was injured, But if we took Tanganga, Dinzeyi, Tsaroullo, Brown and Muscatt plus possibly another u16 FB we'd probably be ok defensively - think Marsh can play CB as has Styliandes.

Not sure how long they keep the games up for - have you tried seeing if they are still up on youtube somewhere ?
