Does anyone know what is going on with Marcus Edwards?
Are we going to hang on to him?
Looks like it for the foreseeable future. He is on our academy. Just need to see what happens when he turns 17

Was reading the Redcafe thread on Oxford when someone bought up Edwards
he did also post this later on
anyway, this is all getting a little too west hammy - and i know i started it
no onomah or winks then, i'm guessing poch doesn't like them being out of sync from the rest of the squad(even if they are unlikely to feature).
Slightly out of left field but I just wanted to say I've been impressed and pleasantly surprised by Ehiogue as the u21s coach. Ramsey, and Inglethorpe before him, got a lot of praise for how they coached and developed the youth team whereas Ugo has kind of gone under the radar. Yes last seasons results may not have been quite as good as previous years, but that's down to a number of a factors, with players out on loan, promoted to first team and u18s brought in towards end of season. What's really impressed me is he comes across so well in interviews, and says all the right things. He emphasises that the players have not yet made it so they need to keep working, he highlights areas for improvement, yet he also is quick to praise those that deserve it. It's also invaluable to have a coach with such a wealth of experience which he can pass on. I'm sure the likes of CCV, Ball and Maghoma have already been aided in their games just from asking questions/getting little tips on playing the cb role at a high level. So what was a slightly surprising appointment, (of someone who hadn't had a great deal of coaching experience I don't believe?) I think has been very successful and i look forward to seeing how he continues.
What's next on schedule?
Anyone looking to leave the club on loan before the window shuts? Does anyone need to?
Seems besides Oduwa and Veljkovic, everyone else should either remain or has already been released/sold off.
Bit weird to have only one player out on loan this season so far though.

Ball, McEvoy and Coulthirst badly need loans, Miller, Sonupe and Ogilivie would also benefit, and some of the more physically developed younger lads could also go if the right offer came in (Caulker was playing in League 1 while still in the Academy.)
i agree and given the club bangs on about putting a system in place that promotes continuity then i see no reason why ehiogu shouldn't be our next manager when that time comes.
Edwards is still the same as last year,he might be a bit bigger round the shoulders but not much.CCV is what, 6'? seeing his dad was 6' 5'' he'll probably still grow a couple more inches. Not really a major problem as he's great in the air.
I know former olympic high jumper Dalton Grant (who is now a strength and conditioning coach) was training Marcus Edwards last summer. Hopefully, Marcus is doing some more of the same this summer to fill out a bit and cope with the physical demands as he progresses up the development ladder.
The secret footballer recently wrote that Caulker lacked aggression. It's funny caulker had a lot of really good loans but never pushed on, I remember him playing against Arsenal in the carling cup he looked good. He seems to have been a bit found out, wonder what could have been if he had stayed at Spurs been better than vlad
BTW anyone know if Lesniak playing today mean that he accepted the contract he was offered.
Rumour was that he was leaving as he didn't like the extent of competition and prospective lack of games.

Buzzing to have been called up for England u17s at the end of the month
Joins Jaden Brown and Keanan Bennetts in the squad
Did he look stronger though? You can increase your strength a lot without adding much bulk, which is what you would want to do if you are playing a s a AMC, as you want to keep that agility and flexibility.Edwards is still the same as last year,he might be a bit bigger round the shoulders but not much.
Spurs academy product (and big brother of Christian) Jacques Maghoma the has scored on his debut for Birmingham tonight. I know next to nothing about him but he once went on to be a first team regular in a Football Manager save I had so I have a soft spot for him.
