Why are we always playing Liverpool at youth level? They copying our development program or what.

Don't know probably our links with Inglethorpe. Tbf to them they ahve featured a lot more in the Lion City Cup than we have, think this is our first appearance. I think it's a case of Liverpool always being invited to the prestigious tounrmanets, but as people are beginning to realise how good our academy is they are now inviting us to them

I see im late to the party lol, as for the loans, i believe the pressure of playing for a massive club like Rangers week in week out would be a massive benefit to their careers.

Sadder to see people linking Carroll with a move away again, to be honest. When I first saw him I honestly thought we had the future 'English Modric' on our hands but, while I still think he'll end up making it as a good Premier League player in the long run, it doesn't look like he's massively kicked on since then.

That's very true as well. These guys still get over 40,000 through the gates most weeks, so it's not going to be an easy ride.

I'd guess the biggest thing is that they'll be playing in real pressure situations, big crowd to please, and playing against men.

Don't think it's such a bad move.

High pressure at Rangers, big crowd but absolutely doable tasks. it can do wonders to their confidence if they suceed at such a massive club.

Reading, Brentford and Birmingham were in for Oduwa. No mention of clubs after Ball.

Perhaps a factor was that Warburton would be taking both and it can only be a good thing to develop alongside another from our Academy. If it all goes well they'll have an understanding forged from experience.

Although the Scottish Championship isn't ideal, regular gametime in a physical league will help both develop their games. It'll also help them get used to pressure from fans, and dealing with high expectations.
