I really hope this turns out to be good news, and he makes a full recovery, I don't think I have been this upset for quite some time. Terrible to watch.

Good news. Hope he fully recovers, forget football for now. Hug your family tonight, folks.

I haven't seen people pull together like this in a long time, horrible scenario but amazing to see. Still worried about Fabrice but 'Stable' sounds good.

The paramedics have been amazing.

Thank god for that. 99.9% for Muamba, his family and friends, and 0.00001% because it would've been the end of our season. Our players would not have got over the upset of tonight. My Scottish team, Dundee Utd, went on a dreadful run of form after Phil O'Donnell passing away on the pitch for Motherwell v Dundee Utd. Quite rightly, all the focus was on the Motherwell players and how traumatic it was for them to lose a team member, but for all 22 players that were on the pitch, the whole event was traumatising and beyond awful.

I hope nobody takes offence to what I'm saying, truth be told, I hadn't even considered anything apart from wishing he was ok for his family etc, until this latest bit of good news came through.

And second everyone who has praised the medical staff, if he pulls through they have saved his life and should be commended.

Pretty much back from the dead, but I hope we hear soon that he will really be ok.

No-one collapses like that and stops breathing without a cause.

Agreed, all the medical staff on this unfortunate and devastating incident should be decorated :clap:

what does "stable" mean? hoping for the best, but worried about his brain.

Means he is not getting any worse but doesn't give any measure of how good or bad he is.
Just got back from the game I am in the Park Lane so it was just in front of me really and I left just before they carried him off, I knew they wouldn't play on and I didn't want to watch any more if they had. If he lives, and I am more hopeful now, they brought him back from the dead on that pitch today and however fantastic some of the things I've seen on that field of dreams in my life that is the one and only miracle.

Just come home and heard the horrible news - really puts life into perspective and how irrelevant football can be in ese circumstances.

Hopefully Muamba pulls through ok!
