I''ve mentioned before that I teach English to someone who works at one of Europe's biggest clubs and he told me that after we played them in a preseason friendly their team were shocked at how strong and physical we were, stating that "we wouldn't like to play you again". Last night was a perfect example of when we have everyone fit and firing we are an absolute force to be reckoned with. I think our name is spreading around the world and important people in the game are now sitting up and taking notice.

Let's hope we can keep our squad fit from now until the end of the season, Moura can settle quickly and the likes of Lamela, Wanyama can get back into the form they were before injuries. I then think we'd be able to seriously compete on all fronts. We should be aiming for a final!

Man Utd starting front 4 last night. Lukaku, Sanchez, Lindegard and Martial.

Now, that's some pace right there. Meant for absolutely feck all.

Pace will give you options which is all good, but it will not be the answer alone.
All that hype about lukaku and his cost he is nowhere near kanes level we are fortunate to have probably the best all round striker in the world within our ranks.

Rio slaughtered Lukaku last night said the difference between Kane and Lukakau was never more evident

Great win this.

I watched it live on an Emirates flight :D Sport24, and afterwards they had Shearer and G Nev going through the game with good insight and balance. Both savaged United for being flat, not having a plan, or an identity as a team. They praised Spurs for being a strong unit, repeating patterns of play and being just a really good team. They said United have better individuals (some, anyway) but Spurs are the better team. He said Man Utd are surviving off 'moments' rather than controlling games, and said Spurs and City are the best two teams (as in clubs that play as a team) in the league.

Who's at in work today smiling like a Chesire cat?

How absolutely fucking satisfying is it to be smug over Utd fans who were chucking it before the match, loving this :D
