Bent just does not seem to suit the style of play that Ramos wants to implement. And having so many midfielders means that when Bent gets to the ball and hold it up, there must be sufficient numbers running up to support him and unfortunately, there isn't. Modric is staying really deep and JJ just isn't making the runs he should be making. If we keep to the same formation and style of play then we will struggle for the rest of the match. We need a 2nd striker up there, whether Pekhart or Gio supporting as a 2nd striker and letting Bent play on the shoulder and making runs. Otherwise, I fear for 2nd half.

we havent looked that bad give credit to sunderlands centre backs. weve been sending plently of dangerous crosses into the box from bentley, bale, zokora and lennon its just they have been very positionally aware and cleaned everything up. i think its bentley behind bent with bale and lennon on wings.
