Ramos says he' isn't focused. Personally I'd play him regardless of that.

Speaking ahead of today's match against Sunderland, Juande Ramos commented on his reasons for omitting Dimitar Berbatov from today's squad:
"As I said on Thursday, I needed to wait and speak to the player when he returned from international duty and then make a decision about whether or not he was right to play in this game. I have not selected him as I do not think that he is focused enough and I do not feel that he will be good for the dressing room and the team effort.
"It doesn't matter how good a player is, if he is not in the right frame of mind, then he will not perform well. The only thing I concern myself with is picking the best team to try and win the game.
"I shall talk to the player tomorrow, he is our player and we shall work with him at training."

at least he is picking players that he think will be good for the team and dropping oens that might harm us, good call

I assume Bale is playing LM. I'd rather have Gio than Lennon though: with Bentley on the right, and Gio central.

Not so confident about this game. A very good call for Ramos regarding Berba though. Hope King has a great game and helps us clinch a result.

that line up looks so so unbalanced...i'm genuninely worried about the game. Where will lennon play? behind benty most likely. What about geo who was the pick of our attacking players last week?

one day ramos was touted as a tactical genius behore he joined us; he's so far failed to live up to the hype!

So who is gonna link up with Bent? Because Lennon will play on the right and Bale on the left so its either Modric or Bentley.

I would imagine that this will be how we line up, Bentley down the middle could work really well, and he could easily swap with Lennon  I like the left side as well :)

Gomes
Zokora King Woodgate BAE
Lennon Modric Jenas Bale
Bentley
Bent

At least with Bale and Assou-Ekotto starting Bentley isn't gonna be stuck out on the left again!

Surprised Lennon gets another start - wonder how we're gonna line up?

Suppose it'll be:

Gomes

Zokora Woodgate King Assou-Ekotto

Lennon Bentley Jenas Modric Bale

Bent

Really need to be looking at a strike partner for Bent, looks like Berbs is defo off as can't be arsed to focus himself... tut tut...

I actually think it looks like a balanced line up. Plus if you anyone wants to feel more confident take a look at the Sunderland side! I think we will hammer them. They don't have Tuncay, Alves, Alidiare or Downing, so the threat from wide areas and on the break that hurt us last week isn't there. Playing at home, with the crowd behind us, I can really see us scoring a lot of goals today.

couldn't disagree more. Bentley is a very one footed player whose biggest strength is his crossing. Playing in the centre or on the left really wouldn't get the best out of him. I'd be very surprised/annoyed if he doesn't start off on the right.
