This was why I wanted Sandro in the team. I'm not going to say I saw that coming, I thought we would win anyhow but having Paulinho and Dembele as the 2 deeper midfielders makes it more difficult. They are both better further forward.
It's also such a myth that West Ham are a long ball team and therefore we don't need a defensive midfielder. They aren't Barca and aren't pretty to watch but they don't just incessantly hoof it, nor did Bolton under Fat Sam.
I don't care if we play Arsenal or Accrington, I'd always have a ball winner like Capoue or Sandro.
