I don’t enjoy the football we play. Surely that’s important?

So your basically going to be a pedant and ignore his contribution to the goal because it doesn't fit your definition of an assist. I'm done here.

Why are we arguing about 1 assist? It’s not officially counted as a assist but yeah I agree he was involved in that goal

Still doesn’t change my point

We haven't been this enjoyable to watch for a few year, Poch ball peaked in 2017 since then its been a downward steady slope, Jose ball hasn't even peaked yet.
You’re assuming the football will be more attractive?

Less about the subs themselves, but on Winks apparently Jose tells subs on cold nights to get a shower instead of hanging about on the bench. TBH, this is something I've long thought sensible, if true.

For another example there was a match where after about 70-80 minutes Kane was an unused substitute and he told Harry to get off home early to see his kids rather than sit there freezing his pills off.

Not everything has an agenda to it but the media love to create one.

Reguilon got pulled after 45 mins, did he need to throw on Tanguy or play Lo Celso for a full 90? Well if you want them to gain fitness and develop an understanding to play both together why wouldn't you put them on?

Sure some of it may have been a message but it wasn't all about a hidden agenda. The message is loud and clear "if I give you a chance then do something with it or improve"

Winks was OK first half there was a lot of game management going on, second half I don't recall him touching the ball.

That's one of the biggest things for me all the group matches half been pretty slow paced affairs, as soon as more of our regulars were out there we started to look a different beast.

What not watch Spurs anymore? What happens if we don’t win anything? You will be happy?
Why are you wasting your time watching something you don’t like and moaning about it on the Internet? Life’s too short for that.

This is Spurs for the next few years, and I bloody love it.

You’re assuming it won’t. If you really don’t enjoy it, then don’t put yourself through it.

I can agree that the football isn’t pretty but totally disagree that it isn’t exciting. When we counter with pace, when we thread a through ball, when we play three, quick forward passes and are in on goal - I find all of that exciting. It’s even exciting when we defend because you know that we could win the ball back at any moment and break.

What even if we don’t win something? Come on that’s not true.

I love the way we play, and our counter attack is absolutely lethal. You know as soon as Kane sets Son away more often than not it will result in an effort on goal.

The ball from Aurier to GLC on Sunday was delightful and as soon as he got the ball I was up because it just had that feeling of inevitability about it. Theres never been anything like that with Spurs before in a positive sense.

We have had whole half’s where none of that has happened. I am a Spurs fan so I want to enjoy watching us play. Surely that’s important?
