Not bad, really. And we knocked Chelsea out of the League Cup as a bonus.

7 points from city, Chelsea, arsenal. People said we'd know where our expectations would lie after after this run of games.

To play like this requires a huge effort and huge levels of concentration and teamwork. I can agree with redknapp when he says the only joy is winning, but that means Jose has got them all to buy in and I love it.

Honestly, you can complain about possession, negativity, winning ugly and all that... And it's all fair enough.

But that was an absolute fucking masterclass. Rarely have I seen a team have so little of the ball, but be in complete control of a game. Phenomenal goals from the dynamic duo again. At home, against Arsenal, in front of a park lane crowd, and top of the bloody table.

I think had Ndombele played we would of won by more and the second half would of see us with more turnovers, transitions and counters.

Get in though!!!

We were so calm in defending. Usually teams eventually end up panicking a bit when they play as defensive as we do - but we don't.

We will be incredibly hard to beat if we can continue playing like this.

Today it also helped that Arsenal are quite miserable in attack.

Phew, I love winning and of course always beating the scum, but I would like to see us get at least some possession of the ball.
I’m assuming that Jose has basically told the players that we absolutely will not lose any of this series of games against City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, but that after this run they’ll be expected to be a bit more dominant and expansive when we play some of the lesser teams, at least at home.

I was just thinking this. And the one goal scored was a questionable penalty wasn't it? Pretty remarkable. Not sure how you would beat us if you're one of our rivals.

Best defence in the league with only 9 goals conceded and 2nd highest scorers with 23 goals scored, behind Chelsea with 25. We're doing alright, aren't we?

Lol, Sky just pointed out that Arsenal are down in 15th and eleven points behind the leaders.

News which delighted me, naturally, even before it actually hit me...

We are the leaders!!

I think @rossdapep is right, we need another midfielder of quality to hold onto the ball and make us play a bit in the middle, there's a serious drop off when our quality players are out.
Exactly, our transitions won't always work and we need someone to help take pressure off. Soon as Lo Celso was carded I worried

No worries in sitting back but you need a player who can play through that press or hold the ball.

The amount of times a player tried to tap around an Arsenal player and get blocked off just meant we were pinned back.

We are growing in confidence to defend in our six yard box but it won't always play out our way and we could also get more counters with better players in the middle.
