We've had some spectacularly bad luck, and that was in no way a 0-3 half, but weeks/months old problems have again been at the fore.

The football has become hesitant and imprecise and blunt, when before it was crisp and accurate and threatening.

We again get pillaged on a simple counter and concede.

Hopeless defending at set pieces. Both outfield set-up and the keeper.

It's just rinse and repeat at the moment.

Going to go in two-footed with a niche unpopular assessment.... but the goalkeeper isn't going to last the journey if we want to get where the club and manager claim we want to be. Goal 1 largely comes about because initially he feels the pressure with the ball at his feet, Goal 3 simply has to be his to claim and yet he gets weakly pinned in the goal net, again. The first bit of the season was refreshing to see a very solid shot-stopper, but it's clear he's got substantial weaknesses - average at best with ball at feet, and totally in a pickle on the set pieces.
Not sure about that. Not being helped by a very static defence who are focusing on zones rather than players. I think he is one of the better keepers with the ball at his feet, but he option is either Romero, VDV or Hojbjerg who cannot play on the turn. Get him a decent midfield and a proper defensive coach and we are good.

No doubt Vicario is timid from a corner and needs to clear players out the way but he isn't being helped.

He’s had to make half time sub yet again cos he got his team wrong. Happens most weeks now.

Ange needs to be careful with what he does in this 2nd half. Absolutely shocking decision not putting Richy on when Werner got injured. The good will he built up can get eroded if we end up losing 6-0 to these.

I've switched off at half time. I'm not interested in watching another half. The lack of bravery in the forward play is infuriating. We've been in behind them at least 3 times and every time we play it back out and let them get settled.

Son also has been awful

If my wife treated me the way Spurs have over the years I would have divorced her years ago. Yet I keep coming back to this torture. The love of a football team is a strange kind of love.
I wonder if there is some study about Spurs fans being more loyal and likely to accept sub stand relationships due to our club affiliations!?

Maddison and Son have been an embarrassment.
And yet these are our “leaders” weak as piss mentality from top to bottom of the club. As long as we’re making money, the results don’t matter.
Been saying we’ve been poor for weeks and yet dogs abuse every time.
Now we’re 3-0 at ht AT HOME IN A NLD! And they’ve not even played that fucking well! Utter farce of a football team! Hook Maddison and son and HT. should have had mikey Moore on bench, probably play with more passion than son! Jokers!

I think what we'll probably find this half is that we huff and puff a bit but Arsenal raise their game second half and it ends up 5 or 6 with a couple of counter attacks sadly.

I put the snooker on to avoid listening to the half time post mortem and I’m tempted to ask my 5 year old to hide the remote control to spare me the 2nd half.

Great news, no striker brought on, just a like for like switch in central midfield 🤣

I'd take Son off. When he plays up front he reminds me of Darren Bent because if he doesn't score he doesn't offer anything else.

I like the bloke and it's awful what happened to him but Ryan Mason is not good enough as a coach and is stealing a living at this point.
I will always say, if Arteta was just the guy who put the cones out at city then i don't know what the fuck Mason does

Don’t be surprised if Burnley & Sheff United score multiple too

It’s not on Ange that Romeo missed from 2 yards or Sonny missed a one on one or PEH wasn’t goal side and put in his own net
The first two I'll give you. The peh one is definitely on the coaching. Watch them at every set piece. Just stood still waiting for the ball to drop on their heads.

That is 100% how we are set up to play. Not to check for runners, not to protect the keeper and not to attack the ball from a running start. They are to protect their 2 square metres of the area and get rid of anything that drops into that zone.

So what the opposition does is say right I'm going to put three players into that 2m area all with a running starts, and it's impossible to deal with.

That's what happened to PEH.
