On Wednesday we face Brentford, a team we have not beaten since 2021 and we even lost a transfer battle with them this weekend as Antonio Nusa chose them over us. On the pitch they have finally won a game after the return of Ivan Toney but prior to that they were slipping into a relegation battle. We, meanwhile, slid out of the FA Cup on Friday and have just one focus now, finishing as high as possible in the league. Against City we saw little of the ball at times and when we did have it we made poor decisions in the final third which cost us our "scored in every game this season" record. Our Premier League scoring run is still alive though and we need to get back to creating opportunities in a game where we are likely to have the lion's share of possession. We are much strengthened by the return of many of our injured players, we have our first choice defence back, Maddison is back and and we must deal with a direct Brentford side. There are no excuses here, we need to win and we will win and I will be there to see it. Tottenham Hotspur 3 Brentford 1. COYS!

MAdders to start hopefully. He looked incredibly rusty when he came on vs City but hope he can make an impact as we are desperate for 3 points here. Could really do with one of our wide players chipping in with a goal.

I expect a reaction from Friday. Hopefully Maddison starts, and we should have more of the ball in this one which will suit us better.

Counting the hours until my trip. I'll leave my agent provocateur self at home, and I'll enjoy immensely. My first time in the new stadium too.
Any tips on pubs for pre- and post- game drinks? It's been a while. Last time I travelled to watch Spurs it was a NLD at Wembley. The one we won 1-0 with Kane's header.

The Coach & Horses just a short walk from the ground is decent for a drink before/after. Enjoy!

If you're walking down from Seven Sisters then it might be worth stopping at the High Road for a IPA, then half way at The Blue Coats, I like it in there.

Anyone used the bag drop services and know the estimate on queuing to get back. Could do without leaving laptop at the office on Weds, but also don’t wanna be in a Disneyland like queue to get it back

I would keep the same team that started Friday. Then rest a couple Saturday after seeing how they recover. Maybe start Maddison if he's ready and put Kulusevski right in place of Johnson.

No idea what the queue is like after the game. On occasions I’ve seen more than 70 odd people in the queue literally minutes before kickoff. I’m sure you’re allowed to take laptops into the ground. Have a look on the website.
