I'll get slated for this and I love the man but I prefer Biss as a 6 and Sarr as an 8 when all are fit.

Our play it out from the back no matter the situation or performance of the players 'philosophy' really needs a rethink.
Brighton are the exact same way. As are City, Liverpool and dare I say Arsenal. They won't compromise it. It's here to stay so get used to it.

Lol @HildoSpur going back to down vote this after Johnson scored. Seriously why? I didn’t say anything about Johnson. I still think subbing Kulu at that point of the match was a poor decision regardless who came on for him.
I was in full agreement about Kulu, he was looking really bright, probably the best he's been for a while.
Yeah, so Johnson scored the winner, that doesn't suddenly make the Deki sub less of an odd one at the time.

When we made the triple sub, I personally would've only changed Bents for Biss, I thought both Timo and Deki were playing well.
Fair play though, it worked out in the end with a great run and ball in from Sonny, coupled with a well timed run from Johnson.

At the end of the day, it's just nice to have options from the bench available again.

No it doesn’t. We’re 4th in the table, six months into a new manager with a young team. We’re doing very well and we’ll get more consistent.

Everything is going fine, relax.

If this sin-bin blue card comes into play dunk may as well retire. All he does is tactical fouls. Yet somehow we gave away 3 penalties in our 2 games.

Think with all the disruptions within the squad we lost our rhythm and now it's going to take a bit of time for it to come back.

I think, as well, that we got so much pulicity earlier on, teams started to really look at us and think about how to play us and even, to some extent raise their game.

There was so much talk about what we do and what we can't do, that I think it became hard for opponents to not prepare for us moreso than others. I might be wrong but when Arsenal started improving there wasn't much talk about their tactics or how this player or that was integral.

Not for me, were starting a journey and philosophy and to be honest, it's going a lot better than expected.
If we keep working at it, it's only going to get better.

The problem is it's arguably getting worse.

I was catching up on the thread. Do you honestly care about ratings?
I don’t it was just amusing as it seemed you deliberately went back to down vote it after the goal and I wanted to know what you disliked about it.

Personally I think Kulu was a an large part of us controlling the midfield and moving the ball up the pitch in the second half and subbing him led to us ceding control to Brighton. We could have brought on anyone for him and i would have still felt it was a bad sub.

Cannot really remember the time when we had players who can come off the bench and influence the game.

Not the greatest performance but we deserved the win - it makes it even better to do it at the death.

Not sure we can blame the subs on our drop off. I mean, it could be that, but we do this a lot. We score, then back off and invite pressure on ourselves.
Maybe those subs were planned and Kulu and Bentancur were told they only had 15/20 mins to give it their all, because their energy levels were way up from the first half. They actually looked like the best players on the pitch for that period.
