My main concern is that at some point, Chelsea are going to actually convert some of the multiple chances they create in a single game.

Echoes of Glory podcast had a Chelsea fan on. She said the same - they’ve been playing well just not finishing anything. She also felt that Spurs’ style really suits Chelsea…but you could also say the same in reverse. Should be a good game.

Hate those scumbags and I hate this game. I always fear the worst. We'll have to lose at some point this season and I fear this is the game.

Let's hope Poch continues his awful record he had at Spurs when away to top 6 sides.

3 wins in 28 games.

Pochettino, who is under some pressure after defeat to Brentford at the weekend left Chelsea 11th in the table, said he would not be resting players for Monday in their League Cup outing on Wednesday.

‘We are not going to take decisions tomorrow for Monday because I think we have time to recover,’ he said.

‘We are going to try to take it very seriously like always as I think it is a competition we can go through.’

My niggling worry is that we also have to lose a game at some point and wouldnt it be typical to lose to Chelsea when we are in a rare period of being in better form than them going into a game, making us favourites (not a common occurance against them) and of course they have our old (previously worshiped) manager in charge. I would like to think form prevails and we clock up another bottom 10 team to the list people keep pushing, proving we are only on top due to easy fixtures, but i am a little worried...
You are talking about the old Spurs. Ange has had the manager of the month curse twice now and come through with flying colours. Listening to the Times podcast “The Game”. Alyson Rudd, who is a Liverpool fan, has covered our last two games. She thought we were not that good in either game but always thought that we would win. The mark of a top team.

Not worried at all.

We keep delivering as a team under Agne, dont expect that to change.

We're the better side now, and Agne wont allow complacency.

Other teams have missed some chances against us and Chelsea have missed a lot. Pessimistic me says that screams of classic dr. Tottenham vibes.

The Ange wave of optimism has me thinking maybe we’ll just win fairly comfortably.

Then there’s always the thought of how delicious it would be having a dubious late winner to crush their hopes

Relatively strong team for them against Blackburn tonight:

Sanchez

James
Disasi
Badiashile
Cucurella

Ugochukwu
Gallagher
Fernandez

Palmer
Jackson
Sterling

Who drops out of that for our game on Monday? Disasi, Badiashile, Ugochukwu I would expect then maybe James and Jackson?

My one worry is Sterling and Mudryk's pace on transition. Our system's biggest weakness is when we turn the ball over and an opponent can find a quick switch wide.
Van de Ven has this Daniel. Don't think I've ever been as relaxed as this season seeing an opposition player run in behind our backline with the ball as I know that super Mickey is always going to catch them.

Really feel like people are underestimating Chelsea. They've not been that bad this season, just unlucky a lot of the time.

This game will be won and lost in the wide areas. I do feel that with it being at home with our support, our momentum, their poor results, I think we should be looking to take at least a point.
