We sure have a lot of optimistic fans now. I think its going to be a tough game, not too confident at all.
I'm confident and rightly so, given the way we've played so far this season. But it's also appropriate to be wary of Chelsea.

As long as Chelsea try to attack, we should be fine. It's teams that sit back we still struggle (but still manage to break them down) to break them down still.

I genuinely think we win this one. The momentum is on our side, as well as a new mentality instilled by Ange. None of the old guard from previous years except Sonny, but he's always been world class either way.

This new team has hunger and passion in spades. We will run right through them. I'm confident of it, Ange has instilled some real belief in then players and the fans.

Why not dare to dream and absolutely batter them to show we have arrived.

Hate those scumbags and I hate this game. I always fear the worst. We'll have to lose at some point this season and I fear this is the game.
You probably thought that before the Manchester United game and the Arsenal game and the Liverpool game. If we win this you'll say the same when we face Aston Villa then......

Relatively strong team for them against Blackburn tonight:

Sanchez

James
Disasi
Badiashile
Cucurella

Ugochukwu
Gallagher
Fernandez

Palmer
Jackson
Sterling

Who drops out of that for our game on Monday? Disasi, Badiashile, Ugochukwu I would expect then maybe James and Jackson?
It really just amazes me that, with the amount of money they've spent, how few names I recognise in their team!

Still doesn't sound like Destiny is ready for Monday, but there are a few days to go yet.

Think this fixture is tailor made for our front three with Johnson starting to have a massive game

there will be goals. I think if Destiny plays our back line and keeping will be too much for them to keep up

I just feel a Cucarella (butchered that spelling) red card incoming.

I don't know what it is but I feel like he's gonna go flying in with an absolutely stupid challenge

I hate it when we play games with a "narrative". Poch coming back to spurs, Chelsea struggling for form, Spurs flying with our new, likable manager. It's got a freak red card early doors and a capitulation written all over it. 0-4 Chelsea or something horrific...though of course I hope not.

If we play how we have been with the ball, stay patient, calm and look to draw them out, we'll be absolutely fine. If we decide to go blow for blow and get drawn into a high-tempo, scrappy game then there's the possibility we'll come out of it with nothing. This game is a real litmus test of how willing we are to stick to our game plan and philosophy because there's no way Chelsea don't press us high up the pitch.

Normally chelsea have an obvious villain that makes them even more scummy. Down the years they’ve had some real odious players - Terry, Ashley Cole, Costa, Alonso, Hazard, Fabregas etc

Now I haven’t got a clue who any of them are….. which is a bit of a shame really and takes away a lot of the edge from the “rivalry”

Chelsea come to town with our one time beloved manager continuing to stink them up every bit as well as Frank Lampard did. Their good spell of the PL season was short-lived, culminating in tossing a two goal lead away to draw with Arsenal and then losing at home to Brentford. I don't think this is ideal preparation for them to come and visit us at our place where we have posted four wins out of four so far. We have not been at our best either in the last two game weeks but we have still bagged maximum points. I take us to be much improved as we are not playing against yet another low block team. Chelsea will take the game to us and we will hurt them in transition and send them back to West London with their tails between their legs. Tottenham Hotspur 3 Chelsea 1. COYS!

We will absolutely destroy Chelski. 5-0 Spurs.
Chelsea are terrible , and they think they are better than they are - If they try and play football against us we will rip them to shreds. If they sit back they will be all over the place and we will smash them.
Either way - Big Spurs victory.

Kind of weird planning that we play Monday - Friday - Monday and not on a weekend three weeks in a row. Looking forward to it.
