I love Ange's style of football, but playing like that with 9 men is just stupid, think we all can agree on that. Even with 10 it is naive

Romero - as VC and the senior player in our back line - should have been the calming influence when the team started to lose their discipline. Instead he escalated it single handedly and was the chief culprit. He could have been sent off twice. He needs to learn.

The injuries to Madders and VdV are rotten luck. After 10 days off that’s not due to being over played it’s just shit luck. Hopefully Madders’ isn’t a serious injury but it looked like an achilles injury when he first went down. That’s a worry.

Udogie is guilty of 2 rushes of blood but he’s a kid. It happens.

The positives: Johnson looked really good early on. The team never gave up. Vicario is genuinely one of the best keepers in the league. Dier and Hojbjerg were warriors. Cant fault their attitude or professionalism. But for a few inches Dier could have been the hero.

I’m sort of looking forward to Wolves away…!

I’m ok with that performance. It was completely different to the battle of the bridge where we fell apart. If anything, this gives me more confidence in us going forward.

We need to get through the suspensions/injuries but I think we take a lot of positives from the performance tonight.

Was their cup final, let them enjoy it. Might've just saved them from going down this season. We have a lot to look forward to. COYS

Two biggest pluses for me were the fight shown by the lads and the way the crowd was vocal throughout. I don't know when last I've seen that by our home supporters. Usually the away supporters back the boys no matter what.

There are lots of positives about the club currently.

We just lack a few quality options to challenge the first team and cool heads in the first team to carry us over the line when things are crazy.

We needed to get one of theirs sent off rather than giving up another player advantage. Need to wise up fast.

I've never been so proud of the team and the fans after a loss. Vicario should be motm, but that dog shit player jackson will get it.

Really hope Maddison and VDV aren't out for long. Also really hope Romero isn't going to revert back to type and be too much of a liability to be reliable as a first teamer, he's been doing so well this season up until this game.

Fair enough.
This is where the rebuild really begins.
Ange knows the areas to focus in on.

But I’m so, so, so ,so so, proud of EVERY FAN IN THE GROUND.
You are true fans. True believers. True Spurs.

This is the spirit that will elevate us.
We are not spursey any longer.

We are United. We are together. We are box office.
Tell me anywhere in the world you would rather than be than at our home stadium.

The guys that got sent off were only trying (too hard) to win your love and affection.
We come back stronger.

I’m seething but pleased at the same time. I don’t know what’s going on.
I think I’ll go for a poo and calm down.

Im still not 100% convinced that Romero intentionally went for the hack on his international team mate. Thats a normal challenge most of the time for him.
If he hadn’t have kicked out a few mins earlier it might have been a yellow. The ref already had it in his mind that he was being reckless due to the kick out.

Don't wanna be a negative nigel but my annoyance with Romero is outweighing the pride I have in the way we battled.

Maybe that's a me problem
Sadly I think that's a problem we'll have to deal with for the rest of his career with us.

He's being trusted as a vice-captain this season and is still doing stupid shit, so I can't see it changing anytime soon.
