I put it fairly and squarely at the feet of the players. The team we had out there, should have beaten this Chelsea team. It wasn't about investment, the players need a kick up the arse. They have shown that they can play incredible football, but that's always been our problem, consistency. There is no excuse for the performance yesterday, against United and Wolves. These are highly paid professionals, they are not children. At the money they get paid, they should be at the very least, giving 100% every game.this game showed that so much of what is wrong with the team is down to players and ownership not the manager.
the pathetic investment in the first team squad and its consequence is evident for all bar the BSofL.
Levy needs to hire a DofF with real power and authority and take a back seat himself.
