Dunno why Danny Rose has looked to knock the girl with the pigtails over every chance he's got. He's got to stop being so dirty/sloppy with his tackles.

Not suggesting anything but how much do you think we could get for Townsend lol, maybe that small blip he had for England might have boost his value up a bit so sell now

Havn't enjoyed this anywhere near as much as the first half against Toronto...pity we hadn't stuck with the eleven who started that....but its preseason...experimenting with combinations etc.
Hopefully that means the second is better, which the others weren'tweren't

Townsend just does the same thing every time doesn't he, never looks up for a quick pass and goes off on a dribble where it inevitably ends on him losing on the ball.

I really can't see him fitting into Poch's team if he doesn't address this glaring fault in his game.

Love Lamela's movement, coming deep and waiting before making darting runs into the danger areas etc. Hopefully it will mean he won't go missing in games like Bale could sometimes (before he popped up with a wonder goal).

Oh Erik's gone and spoiled his performance by doing a pointless look the other way pass.:shifty:

Wouldn't care if I never saw one of those again. One of the single most pointless things on a football pitch since Kevin Scott.

Not the most exiting half. Rose, despite his aggression, is pressing well. Mason is a tidy player, quite like him. Lamela very energetic but lacking players around him on his wavelength.

Townsend doesn't look to be learning. Still playing like a headless chicken.

Mason and Lamela have been good. Maybe Rose too, positioning could be a bit better though.

Walker and Townsend have been very poor.

Everyone else has been very average, if that. Not a very good display.

Haha, I loved the battle between Rose and the dude with the ugly pigtails!

Overall I liked what I saw! Mason looks like a really decent player, looks a lot better than Carroll. Lamela looked bright again, Holtby looked good apart from a 10-15 minute spell where he misplaced a few easy passes.

The only negative part was Townsend, oh my... As soon as he gets the ball he either makes a way to hard pass or runs down a blind alley. At this moment I'd rather keep Lennon than Townsend.

Praying he leaves Erik on. Eriksen for Holtby, and Soldado for Kane....surely.

But with Cabellos/Lennon/Falque as options, two of them will probably come on for Lamela and Townsend.
