For a defensive FB/WB it was a pretty shit half defensively, also not helped with Sanchez playing badly. Very lucky we didn't concede a penalty. Was way more impressed with Aurier, but Emerson is 22 and hopefully improves.

Sessegnon finally looks to be the player we wanted (I know early days but he has the pace to bomb up and down).

We could have been two or three up before Jota scored. Much better today than I expected.

We've played well considering, with a lot more intensity than we have done, and should have more to show for it. But the way they were swarming over us for the last 15 was terrifying. I reckon we're gonna have to score twice more to get anything out of this tbh.

Winks needs to be sold in Jan. he’s either trying to pas through someone’s legs, taking extra touches or is just too slow in possession. Yeh he’s made a few decent hoofs forward but it’s only a matter of time he gives a goal away with how slow he is.

I'm 'winks out' all day long but let's be fair here - he played incredibly well in the first half
