That is what is annoying. We get deep into their half and there is no attempt to break them down. Gio and Hojbjerg just play it between them whilst going backwards and then we lose possession. I know you have to recycle the ball, but that felt more like a couple of players not wanting to instigate something.

He's not been effective in the final third yet but might be more by design to keep it ticking over and look to go wide - always going to be difficult against City to express yourself granted.

As lovely as the football is to watch, we'll only be effective with amazing centre halves (basically clones of Micky van de Ven who are strong, fast and can also play out). Essential that we get the right player who meets all 3, pay £60-70m if we have to.

Actually they don't have to be amazing centre halves they just need to be centre halves would help.
Technically at 2-1 we're still in this.
