Fucking hell, what a performance overall given our injuries and absences. Levy hasn't properly backed a manager in....*checks notes*.... ever, but he needs to step up now and give Ange the squad he needs.

I love that Ange is not for turning. We attack and go out swinging, even if on paper it’s madness. I do think a bit of game management/pragmatism is needed at times, but we’ve 13 players out playing against arguably the best team in the world. Why lay down and wait for a beating
Well... Højbjerg for Gil was game management today 🤷‍♂️ ... as much pragmatism as you get from Ange...

I think we're going to take an absolute pasting today, something like 5-2. But the football will be good and we'll keep making progress towards where Ange wants us.

This is a positive post btw. But until our squad is sorted, we won't get anything at the Etihad without playing on the counter and we won't do that at the moment whilst Ange is getting his playing style instilled.

This humble pie is fucking delicious 😋

I'll be happy to receive apologies from all those claiming it was a free-hit, or that it was a certain loss.

Have a little faith.

Fair f****g play. That 2nd half was excellent. To have done it with such a decimated squad as well. Can't wait to see what we look like next season when Ange has a full squad to work with.
If you think about it what we saw as a starting lineup today is probably close to how we'll be finishing games when the injured players are back.

That is very encouraging.

It really shouldn't be ignored how great a result that was.

City are an awesome team with massive depth in the squad.

We were on the back of three poor results and with 10+ potential first team players out one way or another.

And in the match itself we were properly on the ropes.

So what brilliant fucking heart to get that point.

That may be the best indicator of what Ange has done in such a short time so far.

As others have said...Levy needs to give him what he wants in January.

Not to Sonny but have BJ start wide and drop it over the full backs. He’s already beaten him in a foot race once
Sorry, I missed this during the chaos, I wasn't ignoring you.
I'm not sure that many of our players were capable of that sort of pass today, it would have to be pinpoint.

I get the feeling lots of our fans see the Conte or Mourinho version of these players, like Hobo, Dier and GLC, who they'd already declared below-par (some giving them a whole heap of unnecessary shit for it too), so when they take the field they see disaster looming - hopefully in time their faith in Ange will grow and have more confidence that his substutions aren't just whatever we've got left on the bench.

Kulusevski: Coach was angry at half-time

Tottenham winger Dejan Kulusevski told Sky Sports:

"We would like to win as we had enough chances in the second half. It was an unbelievable performance and we need to play like that all season. I'm really proud of the guys."

"It was really hard. It was too bad we conceded the third goal as we might have won the game. If we can get better mentally then we'll be at the top come the end of the season."

"The coach was angry with us at half-time - he told us to just play."
