My thoughts on today, we looked hungry and wanted the ball constantly. But the biggest noticeable thing was the speed with which we transitioned the ball up the pitch. It’s completely noticeable compared to the laboured way we have been doing it in recent years. Maddison’s passing was superb.

But I have to say Bissouma, fantastic absolutely brilliant. What a player he looked today.

Even the dog lasted 90 minutes. Normally pisses off after my first "for fucks sake" 30 seconds in. She knew what was coming.

I think there's plenty more to come from this squad, even if we don't bring anyone else in. But we won't play many teams as bad as that Utd one this season...

Some of that football in the second half was sublime.

Bissouma and maddison are on another stratesphere on the ball.

Sarr was excellent aswell.

What a great performance.

Sat watching with a Spammer and he said he really enjoyed how we play. I’m sure we will have a few bumps in the road but exciting footy is back!

Penny for Kane’s thoughts… Broken Tottenham just rawdogged the side he favoured moving to!

Bissouma's nickname should be ball dancer. Literally dances with the ball. What a player!! Clear to see why ange doesn't fancy hojbjerg - not only giving the ball away under no pressure but there was one moment where we won possession mid way in man u's half. Maddison had the ball on the left but hojbjerg just stood there rather than getting into the box, and then he was slow to get back when man u attacked after that moment

Sarr and Bissouma were both a joy to watch.

Maddison is fantastic and Udogie looks like a real gem.

And we’re actually playing enjoyable football again, whilst beating Yanited. Today was a good day.

We had Freddie Ljunberg on commentary here, and he was incredibly generous with the praise for us and at one point said it had been years since he’d seen us play as well.

We are going to absolutely destroy some teams at WHL this season.

I should not tempt faith but looking forward to Luton Town at home 😬
Fantastic to hear the noise in the stadium too, been a while. WHL intimidating when the crowd are up for it.

What I love about the second goal was the air swing by gentle Ben, I think the 'swoosh' of air moved the ball in to the path of the Utd player! 😂

Key is getting hold of the midfield. Last season our 2 pivots were over run week after week. An energetic 3 with the full backs supporting dominated the ball, moved it around and we didn't have to chase.

The technical ability of Bissouma makes it. Once Bentancur was injured last season we lost the ability to step out.

Encouraging stuff
