This game is another great example of a team with a week to prepare for a game being well prepared for the game. I would expect a similar performance from us had we not played mid-week and they played Chelsea.
About Trippier "contribution". How come you aren't complaining about Ericksen who received the ball from Trippier, not only he didn't let it roll pass him to follow it forward, but his ball control allowed Man U to close him and force him to pass it back to Trippeir. Then Lamela sitting in the middle of the pitch with two United players between him and Trippier calls for the ball, then when the ball is looped over to him he just stands there waving his hands instead of putting pressure on Man U player - he may have had a chance to win the ball when it was dropped down, or at least put pressure on the passer. And what was doing the far defender but not read the game and the run to intercept the ball, or at least make a last time tackle to block the shot? It can't be only Trippier. In fact he has the least fault of all the rest that were involved.
