Twitter meltdown. Apparently Son cheated by going down after getting hit in the face 10 seconds and several phases before Cavani scores.

Fucking idiots

Are you trolling me? He got slapped in the face, when can you hit people?

Yeah I’m trolling you, that’s why literally all of the ex-pro’s are agreeing with me.

Flicking someone with a finger as you’re running away from them is not a foul. Go play some actual football yourself and see how many times that happens.

If Kane had a goal disallowed for that we’d be raging and rightly so.

I am amazed about Keane's stance on the disallowed goal.

All of them, 3 stooges. The commenator said it was 50-50 decision and I agree, it comes down to someones interpretation. For Rednapp to say 'it was never a foul', I could switch him off.

It's easily a foul, and is lucky it's not a red as he does flick his hand back.

Definitely. He should be off. MartiaL’s sending off in the first game and solskjaer moaning about the ref being conned in midweek is saving them at the moment.

Tempted to pull Lo Celso off for Sissoko. Offering very little right now at either end. Hopefully he proves me wrong!
Lo Celso is providing the link play not just between defence and attack but he's showing for the ball all the time and providing options. He's also made the most tackles on the pitch.

Playing Sissoko is like playing 10 men when in possession. The guy hardly ever shows for it

I like Rodon
It's not just the way he defends. It's his attitude.

Anyone who's played football will tell you, you hate coming up against defenders like that.

Sanchez on the other hand, you could bully him or take advantage of his weaknesses without much push back

Shouldn't the play have been stopped for the head injury before they even had the chance to score?

Was hardly going to be a serious injury but I thought the advice was to stop play immediately for any potential head injuries.

Kinda sad to see the NBC pundits exclusively spending 100% their time on the VAR decision. No mention that we kept them to 1 shot.
Finally, they’re now acknowledging Spurs played aggressively. But with a caveat that we will inevitably poop the bed in the second half... which isn’t unfair given the facts!!
Let‘s hope we buck the trend. ☺️

The ref hasn’t given it because of Son’s overreaction, which is irrelevant. However, does the ref and VAR check it back if Son doesn’t go down? It’s a foul, even if it’s soft and the right decision. Agree it’s not a second yellow though. Lamela’s red was a totting up of challenges against him.

I don't think what McTominay did with Son is a yellow card offence. It's an accident and a foul and the goal was rightly chalked off (although the commentators on Sky and BBC don't seem to think so - twats)

The Pogba elbow looked bad but we weren't allowed to see enough of it. Funny that...

Nor Rashford holding his face and feeling the inside of his lip when he had an arm across his chest

United fans proper losing it on tw*tter calling Son a cheating bastard and the rest of it and calling the referee biased.

If I smacked any of the studio guests in the face like that, would they be so quick to dismiss it as an accident?

Think the ref got it right, doing nothing harsh on us, sending him off would have been too much, surprised Pawson done us any favors...

Not one of these commentators said Lamela shouldn't have been sent off against Arsenal.

If they had then I may take them seriously.
