We finally win a game and well convincing and this thread is descending into which player can we slag off most for their 5 minute cameo at the end...

Anyway...

Newcastle are toast at the moment but you still need to do what needs doing. Son showed exactly how to play the wing role under Ange; Kulu and Porro were excellent all game. Sarr and Biss dominated midfield. Felt like early season Spurs. COYS

Great win. So many quick forward straight passes. Can be risky but when it come off, 3 or 4 players are taken out of the game.

Forest, Everton, Brighton, Bournemouth are our next 4.

If we can win all of those, we can build some serious momentum going into the new year.

If you want proof this is a different Tottenham then look at how many goals we have conceded from corners. ZERO. ZILCH. NADA.

Spursy.

No. My bad if that comes across to be. But will be good for the team to learn and not make such mistake again.
I think your comment is fair enough. I’m not happy at a lack of clean sheet. If we want to get to where we are we need to cut out silly errors and aim for clean sheets.

I’m still loving the attacking, and overall the defence I think has been generally good but certain aspects need to be better.

Quite why anyone would admit to being part of a hate brigade is entirely beyond me, I have to say. Bizarre and embarrassing.
Just quoting 'hate brigade' in the context of what was being suggested. Didn't mean there is one per se. If you really read Hojbjerg's thread, there are many of us who can be critical of him and still giving him credit when due.

Admittedly I was disappointed in Lo Celso's ability to sense danger around him but was generally neat and tidy I thought.
it's a common occurrence. his lack of composure whenever he feels empty space around him is infuriating. perhaps it would be understandable if he was a first year EPL player that isn't used to the way teams rapidly condition the ball but to have this happen on a regular basis after so many appearances at this level... inexcusable.

Annoying that the comms kept referring to poor depleted Newcastle despite us having a large number of players out ourselves.. These dickheads honestly.

Once Maddison is back I can't see us needing lo Celso, use Kulusevski as back up to Maddison and cover for the right. Use Johnston on right and get another player in there also.

CB and a striker and at a push another Left winger and any of Skipp or Hojbjerg that we can upgrade on if we can shift them out.
Lo Celso is fine, covers 10 and 8 and looked good when he came on. Hojbjerg and Skipp should be looked at for replacing before him.

Quite why anyone would take the word hate so literally is bizarre. But I guess that’s the damage the internet has done to people, one pole or the other no such thing as a middle ground

Agreed, just because a player doesn’t fit the playing style, doesn’t mean we need to slag them off. They’re our players, and we need to start recognising the effort they put in.

Meh - who cares?

We are emerging from a really bad period. And the only thing that matters is how we continue to grow as a team.

Ange game isn’t about clean sheets. It’s about out scoring. If your looking for clean sheets then you will be disappointed

Form guide tells me that the toughest test out of that lot will be Bournemouth who've been putting together some good results of late. I don't count the United result yesterday as I really don't count United any more. An absolute shambles of a club.
