It's all fun and games listening to Souness and Keane's analysis until it's your own team's win they're analysing. It's like a competition as to who can be the most miserable, controversial and find the most things wrong still.

This Souness nonsense about 35 year old Ronaldo playing every game . I am sure if he had the injuries that Bale has had firstly he could not play every game and secondly if he had the Bale injuries he would also be playing for 60 or 70 minutes then taken off to make sure the muscle injuries do not re -occur .Souness is living in the past and if he did play in the modern game he would not play many games as he would be mostly suspended for violent and dangerous play the man was an animal on the pitch . I still have memories of his treatment of Hoddle in games or should say the frequent GBH on Hoddle .

Just a point about Kane's first goal, the one that took the match away from Palace. In a just world, that would be a contender for goal of the season. The finish was pure virtuosity of technique and the buildup was high quality.

It is always an irritation to me that goal of the season competitions are perennially dominated by one-off screamers from 30m. Continuing the argument consistently, it was a source of great pleasure that Son's 70m run, beating 6-7 opponents and finishing calmly, won last season. But the goals that should win and never do are team goals, featuring fine passing, movement and a high-technique finish.

Bale has also had 2 seasons(?) sat on the Real Madrid bench. It was always going to take a while for him to get back up to speed, especially the PL

What annoyed me was they kept bringing Real Madrid and Ronaldo in the equation. That was Bales biggest problem at Real Madrid Ronaldo didn't want him there and turned most players and the fans against him. It was all about Ronaldo. He's back at Spurs we love him, the players seem to like him and if he carries on with this form he will stay for another season and possibly beyond.

MOTD showing the Manchester derby first despite our game having 5 goals... Fuck off, as if they’d do the same for the NLD with roles reversed.

Watching Son tonight I noticed a couple of things he did. No big deal but its something he could easily improve on. Also I'm a huge huge Son fan so not bashing him. Love the guy. Anyway,
When he ran to win the ball or close someone down who has the ball, rather than slow down before he gets there, he dives in full speed. They just knock the ball to the side and go past him as his momentum takes him past them. This is something you coach kids not to do.
Also he slid in on his arse twice when it was unnecessary, taking him out the game.
I'll be looking out next match to see if he does them again. Never noticed it before so may be nothing. Played well tonight.

I didn’t watch the post match. As soon as the final whistle went, I switched over.

Sky can fuck off until they bring some insightful pundits in.

I did enjoy Coleman though.
I don't understand why everyone doesn't just do this for all Sky punditry.

We know they're not worth listening to so just ignore them.

It was a great team move, 1 and 2 touch at a fast tempo. Sublime stuff.

Do you remember the Lineker goal against Porto? Another fine team goal.

Agree. It's strange that Brazil's 1970 goal by Carlos Alberto is heavily lauded but almost every other team goal largely gets ignored.

Yeah, it's almost like he just wasn't a footballer for two years. Like when you go to prison take a new job and can't play for your local team because you're mostly working Saturdays, then you change jobs and start playing again but you're two years older and your legs don't work properly, the game seems about 50% faster and everyone else seems to be about 18 years old with odd haircuts.

You think you should still be able to skin the full back like you used to but 15 minutes in you're bent double blowing out of your arse and wondering if you qualify for the vets team yet.

It's a shite point, comparing him to Ronaldo when Ronaldo is an absolute freak, how many world class players are still playing at the top level today at his age, not many.

Also the timing is crap, why be negative and focus on a throwaway comment in an interview after the match when he's just scored 2 goals. It's as bad as people being negative towards the team and the manager on here after a win, no one wants to hear it.

Fuck off with this shit, that type of over analysis belongs in the bin.

As far as I'm concerned every one, even you are entitled to an opinion. If you cant accept other peoples and want them to 'fuck off with this shit' why should anyone listen to your opinions?
