Why do we still have these dinosaurs as pundits. Micah Richards is a breath of fresh air. Replace Souness and Keane with new blood. Doesn’t even need to be ex-footballers, just people who know about football and aren’t still living in the 80s/90s

Their opinion is no longer relevant. They’ve no idea what it’s like to be involved in modern day football. They haven’t played the game in decades.

Grame Sourness

are you for real

Absolutely for real. He doesn’t offer any insight that we, as fans and probably with some small playing experience, already know. And when he does offer his insight he just keeps repeating himself and can’t get his thoughts across quickly or succinctly, it’s like you have to work out what point he’s trying to get at because he can’t properly articulate it.

He means well but he just doesn’t have it in him.

Not a fan.

Let’s be real, all three are awful pundits, when City’s matches are over Micah might as well go home

Richards is a new pundit, he's nothing mindblowing yet but at least he tries to comment on the game, rather than pathetic nitpicking over sentences in the post match interviews. He deserves time to develop, where as Souness and Keane are bringing nothing.

Made me laugh when Souness tried to tell Richards the modern game is the same as when he played. Fk off is it, you were all down the fkin pub after a win ffs.

There are a lot of useless old ex-pros who continue to do the circuits based on who they are rather than their performances. The younger generation of Neville, Carragher, Richards, Jenas etc are far more considered and actually do their research before the game.

Great performance. Great result.

Apart from the obvious plusses (Kane, Bale being unplayable) I though Doherty probably had his best game for us. Sanchez was decent (had a shaky 5 mins, but overall decent again). Moura showed why he deserves to start (though at fault for their goal), caused them problems all night.

Can’t fault any of Mourinho’s sub choices

Happy. 3 points.

disagree with the Sanchez part. He did better than just decent.

Loved the moment when it seemed Keane was going to make an insightful observation on Palace's defense, and then just slurred 'disgraaaceful', and slumped into his chair like a lump of melted arse fat.

In his day they were smoking a 20 deck in the big bath after the game. Souness should go back to what he was better at which was trying to be a bricky in the boys from the black stuff. Might go over the heads of a few younger people

He's proven for years now he is full of bitterness. His slaughtering of Pogba showed that.

Doesnt respect the modern footballer, can't accept football has moved on, and if they have they are wimps.
