Watching spurs has become like Groundhog Day. Play against a flat back 5 in a low block and just move the ball from left to right, doing absolutely nothing with the obscene amount of possession we have.

Boring.

Two attempted crosses from wide positions in open play. Appalling.

At least we’ve been amazing at being offside and gifting free-kicks unnecessarily.

We've been found out, it's as simple as that. Teams know that if you congest the middle we don't have anything to scare you down the outside. Werner and Deki have been fairly useless all half, Deki more so tbh as Werner has at least threatened to do something and dribbled down the outside a couple of times. Deki has just gone back every time. Son is wasted in the middle against three centre backs too. There is no way he is going to win in there, most forwards would struggle.

Emerson looks like he's not really figured out where he's meant to be during the buildup. Romero and Bentancur have both been pointing things out to him when they've not been happy with his position.

Johnson might come on soon and I'd probably like to move Son out to the other wing too. Not sure who goes up top, but at the moment we're not getting through the middle so we need to focus on pushing them back from out wide.

Anyone else struggling to understand what we are trying to do when Palace are defending deep? Just seems like we’re passing it around waiting for someone else to think of a solution.

Last time we scored a first half goal in a home match was against Bournemouth last calender year.

That's 4hours 35 mins *plus additional time.

So safe to say 5hours of first half football at home zero goals. I mean ..

Yawn. Not enough intensity. Maybe we need one or two in the summer who are more high energy and run like madmen for the full game to raise the overall energy in the team...

Ironically I think we’ll do much better against the bigger teams, our counter attacking still looks really dangerous - we just don’t know how to play against such a low block.

just really slow, boring again.... what has gone wrong?
Teams are giving us a lot more respect now and dropping off. Start of the season we were creating the space with Bisoumma getting pressed and taking players out of the game and opening up spaces further forward. Think we’ll end looking better against the stronger teams the rest of the season when they’ll come at us more.

Third lifeless home game in a row. Lots of passing in the middle third and nothing else.

We’ve not got the ball to the line and cut it back to a man in the box for ages and that’s meant to be the “Ange's style of football” goal.

Timo wide open for a ball over the top and we’ve played it once.

Not seen the stats but assume it’s 80% possession and no shots on target again.

Ange has been found out it seems, and he needs to change his tactics or find another plan as this is not good enough... we should have 9 from these 3 games and at present we are on course for 4....
not good enough at all and he needs to find a way
