Frustrating to watch especially when we so often lacked composure with the final ball and wasted some good chances, but relieved in the end that we found our way through, so to that extent, credit where credit is due for not giving up and letting our heads drop when it looked like it wasn't going to be our day. Great news that we are still in even though we are still really up against it to go through, but really looking forward to the Wembley tie against Inter where I'm hoping that it will be a great atmosphere and one of those classic nights to remember where we drag ourselves into the last game over in the Nou Camp with us still being in the mix. COYS!!!

Apart from the first 15 minutes where we were clearly shaken by the goal, we steamrolled over them. On another night Dele would have had two and Moura another. Gazza is our number one keeper right now. The only goals he's conceded for us he couldn't have done anything about. I think it was a crucial win for us as PSV simply parked the bus and we still managed to stretch them a lot. We are picking up speed and I wouldn't put it past us to beat Inter. The next round will be key. If they beat PSV, it's all over. Though seeing as Barca barely scraped through Rayo last weekend, it's not like they are beyond being beaten by us.

If we beat Inter and match their last result isn't it head to head? So if we won 1-0 does our away goal count? Just wondering because everyone saying we need to win by 2 goals.

Then we could beat Barcelona by any margin and Inter could win 6-0 but head to head we go through?
Yes - that’s why Napoli on top of Liverpool’s group even though better goal difference

It's a shame that Inter have an easy game against 2nd bottom Frosinone in Serie A before facing us whereas we play Chelsea. They'll be much fresher. I don't also fancy the Arsenal game after that too.

If we do get the right result though Barcelona have Espanyol beforehand so will focus on that. We do have Leicester away on Saturday night so that'll be tough regardless. Our squad will be tested to limit.

I thought that was some of the best football we've played all season and totally deserved the win. Only player to have a bad game was Son. Not sure why Davies and Eriksen were getting stick. Eriksen was quality in the middle and cleary tired by the last ten minutes. Davies was solid, everyone knows he's not World Class and that was a solid performance despite the bang average crossing. Aurier the same. They all contributed to the team play though and everyone else was absolutely class individually.
Just back from the game. I didn't think we were going to score with the number of chances we missed. Alderweireld was poor and the defence in general was chaotic. The crowd booed when Moura was substituted, but the problem is that while he can cut through a defence easily the rest of the team seem not to know what he's going to do. I think that may be why Kane has not been playing as well. All in all, it was just a relief to get over the line. Gazzaniga did play well; their goalie played a blinder. The problem is that I can't see PSV holding out against Inter even if we do beat them.
Can someone tell me if we should have had a penalty in the first half?

It's a win like this that could really light a fire in our bellies. Too many games this season we've taken the lead and then gone on to lose it late on, games like Watford, inter and psv. And having it happen so often can really put a downer on how the players a feel, a real kick in the teeth.

However, this time we were the ones who came from a goal down to grab the win, this'll make the players feel so much better and I'm hoping it'll give them belief again that we can go on to produce some great performances like we were doing last year.

Well that was pleasant viewing lol.
I mentioned weeks ago that its really getting on my tits that for set pieces the centerbacks, all of them, seem to go into hiding and leave whoever is the biggest threat, be it Giroud, Deeney, Lukaku, or whoever, to be marked by the likes of Alli , Eriksen, Lamela or fkin Winks, while they take the awesome responsibility of marking someone who is about as likely to score as a dead hamster. Its absolutely fkin amateur hour imo and it keeps happening. Even bloody Savage picked up on it tonight and even after they scored Alli was still the one marking him!
I also think for all the wonderful runs that rarely lead to anything that Moura makes we really need to focus more on one thing... GET THE FKIN BALL TO KANE. And Kane, you get in the bloody box more please not sitting deeper feeding others so we can say 'ooh that was close.'
Alli, Moura, Son, Eriksen, Lamela are all very very good top notch players BUT Kane is a total goal machine. HE is the one who WILL score given half a chance. HE is the one who puts it away better than anyone in the fkin league, maybe in Europe, nevermind at Tottenham, not them, and we should be focusing on that more imo.
Edit- and add PSVs goalkeeper to that long illustrious list of average keepers that played the best game of their fkin lives against us lol. How do we do it?

Knowing us though, that’s exactly the kind of run of games where we will win all three. It’s happened before when we’ve had s hard run of games and we’ve thought we’d drop points but we surprised everyone and won them all.

Yep, it feels like it’s the first time we’ve come from behind to win for ages.

I really think someone is going to be on the end of a battering soon once we learn to take our chances.
