Auriers play in this one was a disaster. After the problems we have had from him before he showed that he cant control himself. He was great against Palace but we can see he is a car crash waiting to happen. It happened.Stupid.

We should have bought a right back in the summer.

Bet we don't even address it next summer either.

Who are we going to trust at right back

Foyth who also got a red card and got us into trouble?
Aurier?
KWP (I think is so far mediocre)?
Sanchez? (His positioning even at CB is suspect)
Tanganga?
Sissoko?

He looked very good. Took a couple or knocks to the ankle though

Nothing serious but he has his head screwed on. Go down, hold on to the ankles and buy us time. You watch Kane when we are running the clock down, very clever and obvious to me.

What fucking game were you watching he was one of our best players outrageous statement.

You need to read the post that I replied to , a part of it follows.

Just home.... no it didn't take that long to get home, but had to make a detour on way home.. wow what a game today, the ref was bent.... awful - he made the performance from Riley at Burnley last season look brilliant, he was so poor.
The red card for Aurier (what an idiot by the way) the ball was out well i havent seen a replay but from where we was the ball looked out but the players stopped
The lads really did put effort in to see the game out, both harrys were superb, ndombele brilliant too, Sissoko was great at RB and Coco when he came on was great.
Son was poor, as for Eriksen - less said the better, he clearly doesnt want to be here and its showing in his performances, he was awful."

I didn't think Son was poor , in fact he was involved in both goals. Stevepil also complains about Eriksen who again I think did more running than any other player although he was robbed of the ball few times. The problem with criticising Eriksen which is all the rage at the moment is if you question Eriksen being played then fans are questioning the judgement of Poch, if any fans think they can manage Tottenham Hotspur Football Club better than Poch then I suggest they write to Mr D Levy with their footballing credentials.

Ridiculous. You think a referee who has reached Premier league level can't see if a ball has crossed the line or not?

Well, in the past, we have seen a PL level lino calling for offside when a player receives a ball in his own half and goes on to score a goal at the other end (Verts) and the ref agreeing with his lino’s call.

I don’t think they can, no.

Martin Atkinson has awarded a goal against us when the ball is still a yard in play. So it’s pretty evident they can’t.

His involvement for both the goals was top notch. But in the second half, when we were penned into our half and needed to be focused defensively, he was quite poor... gave the ball away a lot down the left hand side. And that's exactly why Lamela was brought on in his place. Erik loved the scrap and came out on top.

Only just seen ndombele’s celebration as I missed it at the match.

Probably helped contribute to the ref’s performance. Doubt he liked seeing one of his mates being taken the piss out of. They’re delicate flowers these officials.

Wise words from Cascarino:

Writing in his column in the Times, Cascarino said, “Lloris is a great shot-stopper, capable of pulling off world-class saves, but has never excelled with his feet. Pochettino should stop asking him to do something he finds so difficult.”

If Poch trusts Foyth to play right back then for me its a case of trust . In the Poch tenure our full back situation has in the main been fine and in fact in some cases players have become better . I believe that our problems at the moment are that Trippier decided he wanted out and Foyth got injured . Once all our injured players are fit and available Foyth Sess De Celso plus these young players Tanganga and Parrot
become comfortable with the first team squad then we will be fine . Most of the noises about the players unrest and Poch wanting out and the club about to explode into oblivion is just rumours and trouble makers plus a few pundits that can't help themselves because they are anti spurs and can't bring themselves to say something positive. Some of the comments by Wright and Nicholas are so embarrassing and transparent in there anti spurs slant that they as so called professional pundits should be ashamed of themselves if their paymasters had any real idea about the game they should be telling them to up their game.
