Almost at the play the kids territory. Give someone a chance. What they gonna do? Play it slowly backwards, sideways and shit themselves on the ball…?

Poch is somewhere rubbing his hands.

He'll be manager by Christmas at this rate.
Pochettino won’t join the club whilst Paratici is still here. He’ll go for a coach who plays a back 3. Probably Tuchel. Or another go at Gattuso.

There is a hell of a lot more than a lack of decent WB's that's wrong with this side that's for sure.

horrific conte is on thin ice

I feel that would really be pointless. How many managers do we have to see fail with the same players?! The best response to the way things are going is to finally fuck some of these players off and continue rebuilding.

Someone tell me what the tactical plan is here. I can't work out what the hell we are supposed to be achieving. It's awful, we simply cannot win a football match playing like this.

It was like the ballsed up free kick just before half time. We had 3 players ready to run in at the back post… a move that has resulted in goals for us this season. Yet we instead play a lazy ball into no man’s land.

Just get Bissouma on FFS, and not as a 6 but as an 8 where he excels. He might drive us forward and enable us to occasionally win a challeng in midfield. Trouble is, Moura would come off and we have no attacking option on the bench.

P.s. If Marcus Edwards was still here I bet my left bollock Conte would be saying he's not ready.

when he gets on the ball sure, but his inaction in several moments of the game is and has been a problem for a long time. certainly not the worst, serviceable maybe, but not up to the standard he is (or should be) accountable to either.
He's been the only one who has shown any skill. The rest have played like kids in the park.

I think Conte's biggest mistake was thinking some of this lot were good enough for his team.

Hes a smart guy, he knows he fucked up. Trouble is he really cant do much until the window opens.
Fortunate that so many other teams have been awful this season, making top 4 attainable with our poor form. That said, it’s going to hurt watching the goons finish above us

Bentancur and Kane are the only ounce of creativity we have. They are the only ones who don’t mind taking a pass on the turn and looking forward - everyone else just passes it straight back where it came from. I think Doherty has made some good runs forward too but there has been absolutely nothing else. It’s just so easy for teams to play against this shite

The reality is, I understand that Conte is the one paid the big bucks, he's done it in multiple leagues and I know he knows more than me but tactically things clearly need to be improved and if I was to improve one thing tactically right now, it'd be scoring more goals than the other team.

No player should be safe from a cull if the attitude and application is sub standard.

This isn't a dead rubber match - this is for CL knockout qualification and there should be no more motivation than that but personal standards from these players as a collective are fucking shocking.
