I don't know so much about things always being poor structure wise. I think discipline and decision making is a constant issue. Better players are more likely to use the runner instead of running down a blind alley or taking a low quality shot on as a for instance. Players that won't try to force through balls that aren't on and I think some players aren't always where they need to be.

It's why we need/needed another Deki type player in the squad, a quality ball playing centre back and a midfield controller. We just couldn't do it all in one window.

With that said, I really would like to see more of this type of football we've demonstrated since the start of the half.

Yep good squad player, good attitude but no where near the quality we need. He’s a plodder.

We used to have Dembele, prime Wanyama, Modric etc, PEH is many levels below the likes of these guys. I’d even take the likes of Huddlestone and Jenas back in the day over PEH tbh, he does work hard and some of what he does is a underrated but as you say, ultimately he’s a limited player.
My dad said he thinks he's good to keep as a DM but I disagree.

Wanyama was great because he had athleticism, good close control, could adjust his body quickly and was a good short range quick passer. Hojbjerg lacks a lot of this
