Not watching, but ironic how everyone is complaining about poor crossing when usually a certain player who can cross the ball well not playing tonight is being given dogs abuse from minute 1.

Because he hasn't produced a successful cross for ages.

“You get no trophies for finishing 2nd and 3rd”
No but you do get a shit load of money from being in the CL. Money you don’t get from winning t he FA and Caraboa cup

Yet what good is a ton of money if youre not going to spend any of it?

This would be a valid point except for the fact that Poch has tried playing Trips to put in crosses for Llorente and his crossing has been as bad as everyone else's.

Dier's the best crosser of a ball in the team.

Ffs why is it so hard to get some elevation on our crosses?

And say what you will about Sissoko's close control or shotting ability, but you can't deny he's hard to get off the ball. He brings a level of calm to the midfield we haven't seen since Dembele. MUCH BETTER THAN DIER.

He’s turning into the player we all hoped he would but we want better.

Yes he can cross the occasional ball, but he has cost us more games unlike those currently playing

Just as well, because Serge's delivery is looking as poor as usual.

There's another one.
Agree their delivery needs to be better.

Wait...you're not posting from the bench?!

It's not ironic it's the same people who complain there's an agenda against said player complaining about his replacement.

You’re right Dier is actually is a very good crosser of the ball. Wouldn’t want him playing RB though.

Got the Liverpool / Leicester match on in the background and Leicester have put in 3 brilliant crosses already; head height, good pace on the ball, whipped in.

Wish we could do the same.

Really appreciate Vertonghen, shows what a leader he is by trying to add be an attacking outlet knowing we are lacking our usual firepower.

I'd bet one of my hefty 3lb testicles that he's got the most assists out of all our defenders this season. And if not he's not far off it. So the others must have really have it saved up for them :D
