Are you guys really faulting West Ham for the way they play? They set up as any bottom side would do against a top side if they have any clue.

This is nothing new and its on us to find a goal as they are happy with 0-0

Well the best way I can sum that half up is that we have been utterly ruthless everywhere...

Except in the final third.

We’ve been creative in our approach, attacking from both flanks, down the middle, with short and long passes, but we’ve dropped the ball with the final pass/cross/shot every time.

But we’ve run them ragged, so I’m not sure just how much they have left in the tank for the final 45.

Having said that, the freshest player on the pitch is that cheating little **** Hernandez as he’s done fuck all all game, so we have to be very careful to keep our press going, hunting in packs and continue to starve them of the ball as Dean is doing his level best to give them every opportunity to nick one from a set play.

The way we have set the team up has played right into West Hams hands, we are being far too conservative, lots of possession but not moving the ball fast enough.

Sissoko and Dier have been awful both of them need subbing off.

Trouble is if we go one down I'm not confident we'll turn it around given how were playing at the moment

I know there is another thread discussing the merits of Onomah but he is so much better technically than sissoko it's a joke.

Alli has had many opportunities to go for a quick counter attack but every time decides to jog rather than go for the quick run n pass
It’s not that easy though. Even when we break in the counter they have at least 4 covering.

Can see it here. Maybe not as obvious on tv?

Yep I'm faulting them. It's a London derby, supposedly their biggest.

And they aren't even trying to cross the half way line , fucking lame. They should put that on a tee

Exactly, I hate it but it's on us to break them down, if we can't beat this West Ham side then it only shows that tactically we have approached the game wrong because they are utterly shit, especially at the back.

I just don't fucking understand the Sissoko thing at all, he must be fucking Maradona in training to get picked for games, and Sissoko and Dier together is terrible. There's no metronomic presence in there to keep things ticking, even in an unadventurous way, just at all. Dier and Sissoko hide from our defenders when trying to play out and Sissoko hides from the attackers when we are up their end. He's constantly just parking himself next to one of there defenders, and god forbid the ball finds it's way to him, he treats it like it's like a fucking grenade.

Dier's passing is so rudimentary. It's just baffling that we've got Wanyama and Winks on the bench but we get these two is CM.

Poch has to do something at HT, watching these two fucking amble about like insipid turtles is Chinese water torture.

We have such a young and talented squad then we have the misfit that is Sissoko. I don’t like slagging our own but fuck me what positives does he bring to the team??
