Not at all accurate I don't think. He is great at reading where the ball is heading, ie. interception and cutting off passes, which would be a defensive asset. Defence is only about running home.
He's a wasted pair of boots when they're under pressure.

If you think so and you like Pochettino's coaching abilities, you should love the prospect of what Anderson could become under Pochettino. He would be a decent player to add, and you shouldn't judge him on the match vs. Spurs last October.

Its hard to work out the likely team for this one. The only area we are reasonably ok at the moment is defence so , in theory, Poch could rest both Toby and Jan. He could also play a back 5 to save either Dier or(more likely) Wanyama for Tuesday. Foyth could be RB or CB, even Davies could play in a back 3, KWP could play. I'm fairly comfortable with Gazza in goal purely to protect Hugo but this is probably unlikely.

I think Foyth, Sanchez, Davies, Son and Eriksen are certain to play. I really wish Eriksen could have a rest but there is nobody else. Moura really shouldn't play, looking ahead to Tuesday, but almost certainly will.
If Dier and Wanyama both play most of the match, that would be a sign to me that either or both Winks and Sissoko could feature on Tuesday.

Saw a stat the other day about how many times we’ve scored in the 1st half and was shocked as to how low a number it was especially in comparison to the others in the top 6. I think the stat also said that we’ve only scored 2 goals in the 1st half once all season (league only). Would love to change that stat tomorrow.

Yeah you're right I've only seen him in one game...

I’m nervous with the importance of this game. Win and we’re almost certain to qualify for next seasons champions league and free to rest all our players next weekend. Lose or draw and suddenly our place comes under threat, another defeat to Bournemouth and suddenly everything rides on beating Everton on the final day. Please spurs for once make our lives slightly less stressful.

You already know what's going to happen.

Though actually I think we have enough fit defensive players (especially with Dier and Wanyama back) to keep our NWHL clean sheet. Son can't play against Ajax so he's likely going the full 90. I expect 2-0 to Spurs.

Then if the rumors are true, you get Winks and Sissoko back in midfield for Ajax. I just don't know where the goals come from there without Son or Kane.

I have never and would never bet against us but can't help thinking that odds of 4/1(draw) and 6/1( away win) are extremely generous and typical of bookies who don't really follow things as closely as supporters. West Ham deserved to win both of their last 2 games, are generally playing well and have nothing else to play for than to finish the season well.(plus of course what we all know about their attitude to THIS game in particular).

I agree. I can see us drawing, which wouldn’t be the worst result ahead of Tuesday if we pick up no more injuries.
