Totally agree with you, I try to stay away from such pettiness as much as I can.

So, do you get blanket coverage of all Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 games in Norway, Marty? I've often wondered about this.

Blanket coverage? Far from it.

Two or three games per week on a channel that comes only with a few select cable tv or satellite packs.

Was he upset by what people said? I only heard most of the SK jokes through the grapevine so mussed it 'live' so to speak

He hardly ever replied to the people who threw the insults at him. And if he did he completely ignored the insult part of the posts. Never seemed like it got to him but of course there's only so much you can get from written words.

The jokes about SPursking may be constant and of a similar theme, but then so are his posts. He never varies the posts he makes, and the content of his posts are amusing/ridclous to most people.

It stands to reason that people will thus make jokes of a similar nature, because the same remarks are being made by him which inspire such responces/jokes.

I have never (to my recollection) seen anything abusive aim at Spursking, as far as I am aware he just recieves comments which poke fun at his obsession for African players. Now while people may not find the jokes funny (some may be bored of them) others may well find them amusing, its a forum and as long as people are not swearing at him or speaking to him in an aggressive fashion I dont see them problem.

At the end of the day he synosymous with african the action of linking substandard African players and operating a 'scouting manangement network' so of course the link between him and these things are going to be made fun and mentioned when one or the other is brought up.

If people are aggressive or rude towards him the fine I see a problem, but if it is just a matter of jokes about him and Africa/Africans then I dont see what the bother is, wheter you find it funny or not it can hardly be deemed abuse.

And as a point of information, he did pop in last week to claim that he'd never said Toulouse were one of his teams to watch+.

i miss him so much, sometimes it hurts my heart

Dont worry, if we sign any one of these many Africans we have been linked with he will be back before the ink is dry on their contracts.

He hasn't been away that long, there are numerous reasons he could have been inactive recently. I highly doubt he has 'had enough' all of a sudden and will never be back.

Maybe he's been Pascal Shimbomba all along...he's left SC because he's signing for Villa or some other team. Either that or his real name's Baxter and Jack Black punted him off a bridge.

Didn't we just beat Man Utd for the signature of one who had evaded SK's scouting empire? I believe that's two now that we've signed who weren't mentioned on moo moo.

He's posted in the modric thread a few hours ago so he hasn't left.

I have to agree with christophe about what some people say about him here. Some of the abuse he gets is nasty, spiteful, repetitive and, worst of all, mostly not very funny.

If SK really angers you enough to the point that you call him names, you probably should turn off your computer and get a life.

So what if his posts were redundant? You're better off ignoring it, rather than wasting bandwidth calling him names.

Seeing the childish bullying of SpursKing is one of the reasons I stopped using this forum. Too many idiots who would rather throw insults than have a good debate

I know i'm one of the main offenders but my intention was never to go out to bully someone. I've served my share of bans for behaviour that has been seen to be offensive, but trying to take SK's posts seriously never leads to a debate as he will not answer questions in a sensible manner. Therefore if you take his posts to be humourous the replies back will be of a humourous nature. This might be a shock to some of you but I also am annoyed by people who only seem to take the piss. At least i've tried numerous time to engage in a debate with him.

it's very very rare that people throw genuine personal insults at spursking, they just scrutinise the content of his posts, like anyone else on here. It's just they're open to more.

Just because he's 'gone' don't get all sentimental, it would be hypocritical of you all.
