In a thread of jokey posts, I'm (like a couple of others) am going to make a serious one.
Personally, and this is just my opinion... I think some of the posters on here are complete ****s to Spursking. If it were my forum, some of you (even some 'top' posters) would have been banned a long time ago for the way you take the piss out of him. It's funny when you know Spursking's laughing to, but he wasn't, and those who take the piss know it.
I honestly believe he's a genuine poster with good intent. He doesn't deserve the constant stream of drivel that comes his way. He's the easy target in Spurs Chat, like MrsKeane seems to be the easy target in Chat. It's getting old fast, and I wouldn't blame Spursking if he genuinely has had enough and left here for good. Those that drove him away can feel warm inside though. Good job, people. Real nice.

Y'know I have to agree with all of that, especially the bit about Mrs K - people really are way too quick to have a pop and be damnright nasty on ocassion.

But I really do wish Spursking would add some content to his posts sometimes instead of just saying 'I think *insert French/Belgian African player here* would be a great signing'. I've often asked him why he thinks that and he never, ever replies. And when he does his reasons are often completely wrong. That's what causes the pisstaking, although I usually try to be as friendly as possible and ask him politely it sometimes just becomes too much.

I tend to agree Marty, and I have absolutely nothing against people either not agreeing or questioning Spursking's opinions. It's when people get nasty for the sake of it that I can't stand. There are a few posters (who will go unnamed, but they'll know who they are if they read this) that seem to reply with piss taking material to Spurking's posts no matter what he's said. It gets to me, and I'm sure it gets to him a hell of a lot more.
