Modric will be 14! He wants it and its spare. i hope woody takes TT's 6 and Hutton takes the 2. i hate these silly high numbers, 1-11 is class

I think you are safe with Modric 14 mate, but those SS squad numbers are so random! O'Hara and Gilberto (da silva?!?!) are both number 18

By all the stuff flying around it's looking distinctly possible that numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, will all come free this summer what chance number 4 & 9?

Could be a good chance to "upgrade" the likes of Ledley, Woodgate, Hutton & bale to 6, 5, 2 & 3 any thougts?

Agree completely although I reckon King will always stick with no.26 as he's had loads of chance to move up before (it's a shame as I reckon he should take no. 5! :up:

King will always stay number 26, and I'm sure likes to have number 16.. So those two will keep their numbers...

It seems obvious that Modric will get no. 14 next season but I wonder what number Dos Santos will have?

I'd personally give him no. 11 as would like to see him solve our left wing problem - switch Gilberto to no. 16 and promote Bale to no. 3! :up:

Or perhaps Dos Santos will take on the no. 18 shirt - tis a tough shirt to fill...
