Celebrated by spurs fans on the date when it becomes impossible for the Arse to win any trophies and they are left to desperately look for something else to celebrate in the hope that it will paper over their massive cracks. St Arseholes day has been celebrated for the last 9 years on the trot.

Let's make it happen.

But still, they're finishing above us. And they're in the FA cup final, soooo I think I'll save my St. Arseholes Day celebrations until, well, until... Just until.

But finishing 4th every year and squeezing into the "Champions" League qualifying rounds every
year is Wenger's target.

The Bank Of England club should do better. I fucking hope they don't.

That the fact that they're finishing above us is the whole point - it's turning it around on them. That their fans are so desperate to celebrate something anything the only thing left is this stupid day of theirs.

Obviously Hull are going to win the FA cup and St Arseholes Day 2014 will be celebrated on that date ( ok it might be a little flawed if things don't quite go to plan :D )

As if we wouldn't celebrate if we finished above them every season.

Nobody has said we wouldn't? We'd also be celebrating like mad if we got into CL positions. That's not the point, it's a bit of fun.

To celebrate anything would be the greatest compliment to them.

It would be best just to ignore them.

Its a nice concept for if we ever change the balance of power and dedicate such a day in the season for when they can't finish above us

Maybe my future grand kids can enjoy it

Hmmm....kind of ironic timing in the sense that they're probably going to end their trophy drought in a few weeks time lol

What was fun about the st tottering thread? It said happy st totterings day like it was started by a Gooner and really didn't require its own thread

I still don't see where the fun or even humour was meant to be in it

Yeah but imagine the fun if they don't, especially if it's a Spurs old boy or loanee that does the damage ;)

because I for one dont give a flying fuck if they have a day named after us. I find it amusing and as the OP stated it was a bit of fun. away from the humdrum of sherwood out. Rose is shit. time for a new chairman.

But hey. im just a positive kind of guy. you carry on.

Using my imagination is one of the most vital factors of being a Spurs fan... Fourth place, winning a cup, maybe even the PL title:unsure:. Don't wanna spoil it on what Arsenal might do or might not do.

I don't give a damn about it either - I still don't see what the bit of fun was in it though?

The thing about St Totteringham's day is that it's quite funny. Especially after the mind the gap and negative spiral comments in recent years. And rather than take it on the chin, even offering a wry smile, Spurs fans get wrapped up in their own anger. And launch truly unfunny crap like this, further proving tottering gets under their skin, and end up looking even sillier if Arsenal win the cup.

If you haven't learned to not count your chickens yet, as a Spurs fan that finished 4th but still didn't get CL, then I have no advice for you

Thinking about it, they will always be arseholes, so why have only one day to celebrate it, we should celebrate it EVERY day! :D
